  • I have only learned through an investigation at the employment office of FASD and then I tried to investigate. That I did for me was a big shock, but also an explanation for many things in my life that I could not explain before.

  • FASD is 100% prevetable. If there is any chance you are pregnant, PLEASE do not drink alcohol!

  • The Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Network of New York City and Long Island Inc. and FASSTAR Enterprises put together this slide show. Sadly, all the children/teens/young adults are diagnosed with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. Most of these people will never be able to navigate their way through life because of permanent damage caused by in-utero exposure to alcohol....These pictures are not fake.

  • I enjoy drinking socially. However, I do not touch alcohol while I'm pregnant. There is no excuse for drnking during pregnancy. I see kids with classic FAS features in my special education classes. I love working with these kids, but it's tragic that they have been severely affected by the poor choices of their mothers.

  • It's sad that these children who had no say in the matter, must suffer the consequences of their mother's selfish actions.

  • I have lived with FASD in our home for many years. It is hard not only on the individual that has the FASD but on their family. We suffer when we see our children suffer. Awareness leads to prevention and understanding! Thanks for the courage to do this!

  • The child at 0:10 is the precious angel I adopted. The children are all so beautiful!

  • ALCOHOL IS GOOOOOOOOOOOOD :D

  • They are all beautiful - a shame though that could not have had a healthy start to life though!

  • nice video

  • @HellToTheYeahX2 My mother slammed alcohol when she was pregnant with me, My life is hell! Imagine you body like on and energy drinks 24/7 and your mind is on speed. several thoughts racing, .makes it hard to even learn and have conversations. I knew there was more then me just having ADHD, im still suffering from what she did. Message to alcoholics DON"T GET PREGNET! Vote up if you agree

  • alot of indians in my school have this

  • the one in 1:25 looks like me in baby

  • rofl

  • They look like ... kids.

  • Im related to a few people that are in this video. They are awesome and inspiring people, but clearly struggle with learning and behavioral issues that they are hardly in control of due to brain damage. Your baby drinks what you drink during pregnancy. Alcohol kills brain cells, leading to serious incurable damage. Please do not drink if you are pregnant. 049!

  • I learned about that syndrom in my biology class last week and i looked for more information on the web 'cause it's a huge problem that not enough people know. Now that I do know it, I'll talk about it because people need to be aware and sensibilize about it. Like it said it the video: SPREAD the word

  • I taught kids in Special Ed who had FAS. The physical deformities were nothing compared to the behavioral ones. Keeping them from destroying things took up a huge amount of our time.

We had "crack babies" too. Sometimes it seems like a lose-lose situation.

  • The funny thing is that people always talk about low weight at birth. Yet my biological mother gave birth to 4 boys and we all were around 10 pounds at birth. Yet she was a sever alcoholic.Only one of us is anywhere near normal. I had learning disabilities and I got into so much trouble in school that a teacher told me in front of the class that I was going to end up in Federal Penitentiary when I grew up.

  • damn i know a guy in this video

  • AMEN!
