  • made in BULGARIA !!!!!!!

  • bilgarite si znaqt vkusa, mn gi uvajavamm...... ;)

  • As a bulgarian i should say she doesnt spell some words right. This version is pretty nice but its the original that touches most "Stefka Sabotinova - Prituri se planinata" and the original mix of D Emotional Project /watch?v=HNmYUsJQyr0

  • This song is Bulgarian, it has nothing to do with Macedonia (with all the respect to our neighbors). Stefka Sabotinova is a Bulgarian performer. " Sakar (Bulgarian: Сакар or Сакар планина, transliterated as Sakar planina) is a mountain in southeastern Bulgaria, between the rivers Maritsa, Tundzha, Sokolitsa and Sazliyka and close to the borders with Greece and Turkey." Copied and Pasted from Wikipedia if no one believes me! You can also find info about the performer StefkaSabotinova on Google!

  • @bolqrka1 you wish Google was correct about everything.

  • Песента е Българска, не знам от коя планина, но ако е от Шар, това е още едно доказателство че Македония е България, и още един пирон в ковчега на македонизма и античните скопианци :D

  • @PifchoBG aj odi tatarishte edno nazad kaj toa tvoeno pleme kaj Volga tamu od kaj shto si doshol... ke vidish koj posle bil Bugarin mamu ti ebem.

  • Nit grit totally drops it. But this is gorgeous.

  • @Xee666

If you are still interested at english lyrics of this song, please read my previous comment below. You will find enclosed some other information about this song. Best regards.

  • @holymradamlevine

    Translation:

    "The mountain rolled over"

"The mountain rolled and overwhelmed two sheperds. Two sheperds, two friends. The first begged: Let me go, my first love is awaiting me! The second begged: Let me go, my old mother is awaiting me! The mountain spoke: You, two sheperds, first love grieves from day to noon, old mother grieves up to the grave."

This song was first sang by Stefka Sabotinova and if you like to watch the original, please try this:

    "/watch?v=a-ZMBm-3hHY"

  • Always amazing, I wish I could understand the lyrics.

  • beautiful song

  • isnt this the ending song from the movie the mist?

  • @Uzielim1 can you please tell me the translation of just the name please!!

  • I heard the Nit Grit version and thought she had such a beautiful voice that i had to listen to the Original to really take in her voice

  • @kyleward118 this isnt the original .... try Stefka Sabotinova - Prituri sa planinata

  • finally the real song, not that annoying dupsteb woobling around

  • That's a Bulgarian Song!!!!!!!!! Stefka Sabotinova is the name of the artist!

  • Wonder if the translations are possible to have.

  • @litmibimi Translating from this form of Bulgarian language to english is somewhat ridiculous ... its not impossible but if i translate it literal you wont understand it :) so will make it in a form of story... :)

  • @litmibimi It is a story of how a mountain went down and burried to shepheards - friends...they begged the mountain... the first one said let me go , my love is waiting for me and the second one - let me go my old mother is waiting for me. And the the mountain answered : your love wont grieve long for you but your mother will grieve for you intil her death! ... And this pretty much sums the text up :) hope you liked the way i told it for you :)

  • nit grit remix is better

  • you, (fake) Makedonians (FYROM people), wanna steal EVERYTHING! First, you steal the name Makedonia from Greece, then you tried to steal it's ancient history, like Alexander the Great, etc, and now you wanna steal the tradition from your neighbours. This song is Bulgarian! Writen by bulgarian people who lived on the mounts, that now belong to your country. Plz!!! try to creat your own TRADITION AND HISTORY and let GREECE AND BULGARY have their OWN!!!

    THANX!!

  • imakegetsugatenshou : This song is Bulgarian (original)

I know that you speak Bulgarian in Macedonia.. but still you have some differences in pronounce's and writing so THESE lyrics are in Bulgarian, the song is Bulgarian and its awesome.

  • the song and main lyrics are bulgarian not macedonian :) the original is BULGARIAN : )

  • I wonder is this was in the last part in the movie "The Mist"? Good movie, but depressing.

  • @ivan2teach Bit late, but here's the ending song from The mist : /watch?v=f09FV5QANrg

  • The Original watch?v=wQ9BkiDEsGw&feature=related this is the Best Bulgarian folklore song

  • I am bulgarian . I want to greet our macedonian brothers ! Peoples don't fight , we are all the same . We should unite against others not against EA ! We are all slavonic nations , speak almost identical languages , worship the same God , look almost the same ... yet we tend to fight over stupid things like who stole what from whom .... Be strong ... Embrasse friendship and love ! I know it's hard because every one is against us > Europeans haven't heard about us neither they want to ... Unite !

  • @Pupixario you're right, but do not forget in the north live you brothers too. i'm polish. slavonic nations are almost half of europe but they always fight each other

  • Divno!

Cija je grupa? Bugarska? Makedonska? Srpska?

Mada, svakako je svejedno, sve je to isti narod, ista dusa.

  • This is beautiful but I like NitGrit's remix waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. This sort of reminds of something off the 300 soundtrack.

  • is that the soundtrack of the movie 300 at the end

    called Massage for the Queen?

  • @PRFxSniper No , the song from 300 was copied from the original song Zaidi, Zaidi Iasno Slantce from bulgarian folk :)

  • Уникално изпълнение, българската народна музика е неповторима. Браво!

  • emre kankam sen çok yaşa...

  • I love this song, i heard it first from a remix, which actually does this woman's voice justice. Her voice is amazing.

  • @comeoriginal5664 that wasnt the NiTGriT remix by any chance?

  • @jumbijumbi9 yes it was haha

  • @jumbijumbi9 no, this is the original BULGARIAN song by Stefka Sabotinova

  • @haker9521 I had a listen to the version by stefka. Is it supposed to be cheap synths and drum machines? Def prefer Stellamara's version.

  • @jumbijumbi9

Well maybe cause its not a 'version', but the original and its well old now.

  • @jumbijumbi9 it is very hard to find Stefka Sabotinova's original version on youtube the one with the drums and synths is a remix from the 90s no idea who did it but it was def not Bulgarian

  • The whole thing is about two shepherds who go out but the mountain turns over them and they get stuck bellow it and can't get out so they both beg her to let them-the first shepherd says that his beloved is waiting for him and the second says that his mother is waiting for him. Then the mountain says that a beloved will cry for him from the dawn to the dusk but a mother will wait for her son 'till the end of her life.

  • nunca olvidare esta cancion

  • i will no longer call people a pussy for crying because of a song, this made me tear up. its pure beauty

  • "Prituri are mountains that buried two ovchera, that buried two ovchera, ovchera two - two comrades. First pray - let me. Me waiting for the first lovemaking. Second pray - let me. Waiting for me old mother. Speaks Mountains: "Oi you two vases shepherd lyube mourn day until noon, Mother grieves till the grave. " This is the only translation I can find and I still don't understand the song completely! What is ovchera? Prituri? lyube? If someone can help me I will be your best friend! ^_^
  • @Darkestone46and2 ovchera is plural of ovchar /овчар/ and the meaning is shepherd.

    lyube /любе/ - ummm.... lover?

    prituri/притури/ - overturn/turn upside down /

  • @cvetenzee THANK YOU! It's even more beautiful and hauntingly sad now that I know this! Thank you so much!

  • @Darkestone46and2 no problem at all :) If I can help some more just tell me.

Did you hear the original song?

I can give you suggestions for more Bulgarian songs if you want :)

  • @cvetenzee =D I have never heard the original....I thought the song was too old for anyone to have an original recording. There are many other versions, I noticed, But this one is the best I have heard so far. More suggestions would be wonderful! I am ALWAYS up to discover and discuss new music; especially from such an amazing and little known culture. Thank you! =D

  • @Darkestone46and2 By the way, where are you from? Our music is so rich and different in every region, you can read about it :)

  • @cvetenzee Well.....I am from America, but I do not like to say this in public! lol, One day I shall move to Norway or Bulgaria and be rid of this McDonald's life and this horrible music!! LOL Though I am very disappointed to see what they have made Nevena sing; boring pop. I was hoping for more from that girl. SHe is SO amazing. Thank you for the suggestions, I have been studying this culture a little bit now and the History is really fascinating and rich!

  • the lyrics are simply amazing!

  • Check out the NiT GriT remix!

    /watch?v=mUt5mkSrnXY

  • Oh my God I love this music and all similar... love it so much. Soothing, so very powerful. I can't understand the words but I am able to feel it... great music can transcend language because it communicates to all, as music should. That's why humans are naturally connected to music

Soooo beautiful thanks for the upload

  • this changed me, and i am grateful. her presence, mmm. and the cello sang with so much heart!

  • what does Prituri Se Planinata mean?

  • @sheermagical It means "The mountain turned over" :)

  • Very nice Song and exceptional phonetics!

BUT Planina region does not belong to the republic of Macedonia. There is not such country and there will never be. Slavs have no relation to ancient Macedonians (1300bC-200bC) since they came only during the middle ages and after.

So you are talking probably about VARDARSKA and NOT Macedonia. Macedonia is inhabited only by Hellenes (Greeks), ie those who bear the Hellenic (Greek) DNA, have the Hellenic culture and speak the Hellenic language.

  • This would be awesome for a movie like Lord of the Rings...

  • love the NiT GriT remix

  • @meshblorg yeah that shit gives me goosebumps hard, its the reason i checked out what he sampled from

  • Macedonia - I Love You ....

  • @rokabililily, it's not macedonian. it's bulgarian.

  • This is bulgarian track!

  • its in old bulgarian so its kinda tricky to translate it in details, but this is the basic lyrics. I hope i shed some light on the matter :D Its a rly touching song especially when u are a bulgarian, it just fills your chest with sorrow and joy its amazing

  • Lyrics translated: The mountain fell, and trembled on two sheppards, and trembled on two sheppards, two sheppards, two mates. First one begs, let me go, I have a wife waiting for me home, Second one begs, let me go, I have a mother waiting for me at home. The mountain responds, Oh you two sheppards, A new wife griefs from day to dawn, a mother griefs to the grave. Im a bulgarian and this is not a rly proffesional translation not becoz i dont know english but becoz
  • Mmmm im sorry but this has nothing to do with Macedonia. The original is from Stefka Sabotinova and its bulgarian! Its even in the style of other songs from the same region in bulgaria.

  • Yes it's gorgeous...

  • the only reason i disliked this video is because i wanted to be first.. i love this song

  • wonderfull song, make me thinking so much ...could some one traduce the lirics? ..just a little please... i need to know what say..

  • I got this album for Christmas and it has been a favorite since. This song touches the soul.

  • Soul touching.

  • Very beautiful song!

could somebody please help me with the lyrics - will be very grateful ))

    taisa-tribal@ukr.net

  • oh yes , i dont mind . Thank you once more for supporting our culture

  • yes in truth its not the originall version , but its an old folk song, so its have many variations. Its from the Shar mountain (planina) region. Now its in Republik Macedonia. Stefka Sabotinova version is also diffrent from the original one that the regular people use to sung

  • @pirinec78 Thank you so much for your knowledge, it's nice to read interesting information.

Could I put the information in the video with your permission?

  • @yoliGore Actually, I believe that is not correct. These type of songs have their own signature which shows which region they originate from. This particular song has a signature of Rhodope Mountains and Thrace as a whole, which is in southern Bulgaria.

The translation however is exact :) Good job and thank you for uploading this different version.

  • @yoliGore, does he means the song Raspukala Shar Planina, it's different song I cant find any similarities in this two songs.

  • @pirinec78 "Republik Macedonian" no, Bulgarian YES.

Machedonian is a Greek land and name and this is a nice song, so lets have all the information correct ;-)

music doesnt have borders but when we are mention them its nice to be 100% sure of history.

    all in good will. ;-)

    peace out

  • by the way , lyrics are correct . Thanks for supporting our culture

  • @pirinec78 I was a bit busy but now, in this little time I give you thanks : )

When I found the lyrics I thought the first paragraph was right, but then... I wasn't sure. This isn't the original song and in this version the song isn't complete I think, when I see the lyrics and listen the song, I can't listen all the lyrics, I listen the first paragraph and then listen other words

  • mate , zablejalo mi agance is also bulgarian song, strumica also from seven valleys album , in fact the only one of stellamara that i have

  • @pirinec78 I didn't know they were Bulgarian songs too, thanks again for the information

  • @pirinec78 Do you know where I can find the lyrics to zablejalo mi agance ?

  • @ralphyboy25 there is a version from Борис Машалов, i cant post the link , but copy paste the name and you will find it. Its the most famous version

  • @pirinec78 Thank you.

  • you know, this upload has been the only song that can bring tears to my eyes in over 2 months. i rarely listen to it. but when i do, i am thankful

    eric

  • @PinhotiTrail It's very great to see that it can enter in your heart

  • @yoliGore the same feeling here

  • Excellent track. this is lovely.

  • Here, on this video post, it's not important who's song this is, who sings original song, is it better or not ...

It's important that she has magnificent voice and sings it good.

  • @saneFool Thank you so much for your most sincere opinion : )

  • @JIVAVODA First, I'm sorry for be late. I read your comment when you posted it... But I couldn't answer you.

I like both songs, the original and this song : )

I don't know many songs from Bulgaria, Prituri Se Planinata is the only song I know. Your country must have more beautiful songs!

    Greetings from Spain!

  • @JIVAVODA Thank you so much for the information, but if I'm sincere with you, I've listened the original song when I uploaded the song by Stellamara

  • This song makes me change, hell, it sounds great

  • great! melody is awesome!

  • @metk0o

very nice thanks for sharing and uploading...

  • @daymarre Thank you for comment, I've search information about the band because I didn't know where is Stellamara from, if you are interested in it, read it : )

  • @metk0o Thanks for your comment, yes it is! : )

  • hm,, interesante niña :)

  • good sound, they from rumania? post or neo folk, just for nature girls XDDD

  • @BATTLEHEART25
