so did u get power out of all this i mean i drive an auto civic 96 ex vtec and ppl b like na ur sivic is slow bla bla bla dnt put money on it did this make ur car a lil faster. ive beaten stick civic on D3 and shifting to D4 on da right time and i only have a aem cold air intake let me know plz thank you
i have a 04 civic manual but its not an EX, regardless, the d17 engine isnt responsive to bolt on application upgrades such as you and the video mentions, the only real power increase you will get out of this engine is a turbo, or better yet, a k20 series swap.
getting the entire air flow package (headers/intake/cat back will only add like no more than 5 hp and IMO its a waste of money
as for me, i dont race and have no desire to compete so im good with a tanabe cat back and aem SRI

Where did you get that megan exhaust from? I have a 03 civic ex too and I'm not sure whether to pick the HKS (rear section) or the megan.

oh man, I'm struggling with that decision too.
The HKS is only an axle-back but cost almost as much as the Megan which is full cat back. The HKS sound is a little too mild...
I think I just made up my mind! MR!

its a great system!!! and if u can afford it get the greddy evo 2 exhaust. that sounds a lot nicer but really pricy.
