Mark Lowry did not write this... I know the guy who did, his name is Tony Warren, he used to be my youth leader in church. He worked at a christian music record company and knew all the Christian Music Superstars!

Yes, the name of the original song is "I surrender all" by artist Clay Crosse from back in 1992-1993.

And actually Clay is in this video w/ Mark... Clay is the man cooking burgers on the grill w/ the apron on the says "kiss the cook"
