People, you have to ring the two bells in order to open the gates to the fortress. One is obviously the gargoyle tower, the other is in Quelaag's domain (a white looking hill with spikes in the swamp area of Blight Town, it can be seen from the second bonfire.).

On a more important note, how the hell are you supposed to find this bonfire? It's in the most retarded spot. Oh dark souls, you never cease to piss the player off XD.

If I remember correctly, it unlocks after you ring both bells...the first bell is rung after you beat the gargoyles and the second one is after you beat the spider boss in Blighttown.

Thanks for showing me where the bonfire is ^^ couldt find it xD sen's fortress is at the old bearded blacksmith the fortress is behind those big iron gates with that guy in the fat suit infront of it. you need to ring the 2 bells to open the gates.

currently im at right before the boss...damn i knew i missed a bonfire....they sure know where to place em...and at the time we would be getting attacked by those fire bombs to make it even harder...nice..

guys this is just past the swinging blade platforms, dont worry, when you get past there its easier to make the path to the bonfire( wacth out bcuz theres a crazy giant on the top of that tower that will trow giant flaming balls at you)

This was such a sneaky bonfire placement. I missed it the first time, but thankfully some kind soul had written messages leading me to it.

I recommend everyone write messages liberally. They are life-savers.

I just got to that spot with no heal, no estus flask, 15,000 souls which is now 1 level up and have sat at the bottom of the stairs shitting myself at the firebomb giant, thanks for the video! I knew the bonfire was near by but not exactly willing to go on a scouting mission at this point lol

Thank you! I couldn't find the damn thing. Also, I think those giants do respawn. I had kill the boulder one,not the fire one, then I die traveled the whole thing again then when I got up there he was there again.

@darthroker29 me on the other hand killed the firebomb dude first because he is a real problem, then before fighting the boss I went back to kill the boulder dude, he was very easy but I fell on the hole before I could finish him off so I decided to deal with him after the boss but when I came back from Anor Londo He was gone... What the hell!!

Just kill all the rock throwers with poison arrows. Each arrow does around 500-600 damage when you let the poison work in.

@HezyFoShizy the vidoe starts at the mist covered door. Once you make it to the room where you can change the boulder direction, their is small doorway up a few steps, that is the way. you will need to dispatch a few baddies and cross a few beams with the swinging thingys, but that way leads right to where this video starts. If you havent rung the 2 bells, well.....go do that.
