@elbertproductions well, if the time machine was wiped out completely then neither the Doc nor Marty would have been able to go back to the 1930s in the first place to screw around with the timeline to prevent the doc from inventing it.

It's time travel! It never makes any sense!

@darthrigel Yeah, she's a bit self- righteous, but she is quite pretty and a nice enough person (It's gaining unchecked power in the alternate timeline that makes her go crazy, that much power can corrupt even the kindest of hearts).

@Adamguy2003 she's not a kind hearted at all. how can you say that? in the '30 she's only a 18 or 19 and she's crabby and frigid like a 70 years old catholic woman and this by itself was not a good sign. also in the original timeline (without any kind of power) she reduced herself to a lonely crazy controlling freak who spend all her days peeping and shouting to people by her window. I cannot imagine a timeline in which edna is a nice person.
