okay anybody getting PHP files, Turn off your download manager, i used Dap and you have to disable it to download the beatmap correctly. =D

i dont get how you download beatmap packs.... can someone tell me how? if i use the internet explorer or firefox way (by the way i have firefox) it just says that Osu! doesnt know how to deal with this file type.

@sunbeami Download and unzip the pack, and it should contain several individual songs that can be individually imported.

A lot of this info about importing the zip files is outdated since osu! now uses the .osz format, which osu recognizes.

You can add videos to a beatmap you MAKE, but I don't think you can make a beatmap you didn't create play a video.

@DakeyrusOsu Actually, you can! ^^ It's not too difficult though. All you have to do is take the video that you want (of the same file type shown in the information of the osu! beatmap file), and then copy the name of the old video EXACTLY, and then delete the video, then you paste the name of the old video as the new name of the new video, and it will replace the old video with the new one!

Make sure you're logged into the website. Select the beatmap you want and there will be a big "Download Beatmap" Button on the left or right. Click that one, no reason it shouldn't work.

Are you trying to use the Beatmap Packs? The RARs are not compatible as they are - You must first unzip the RAR. There are a number of .zip files WITHIN the rar file, those are the ones you can drag and drop into the game.

That beatmap is in a special zip format made for osu. (.osz) When it's dragged to the osu window, it self-extracts into your Songs directory located in your osu folder. It will be accessible on any account logged in from your computer.

When you import, say for firefox, by clicking open when you download and it gets sent to Osu, does the song stay on the account and always gets the info from the site? or does it save the copy onto your computer to the directory?

you can play a song on single solo player, but i dont think it works on computer live player.

but you can continue on the song, even tho you miss some hits.
