  • Who that flaco flaite that's kicking you

  • @eutanasio31 jajaja es un amigo/compañero de curso.

  • Hahaha 3:35. Gotta love that run.

  • isnt it impossibly hard to keep focus whilst moving? i try to do this but it looks crap...

  • @ItsCallum It is very difficult in improvised movements. You would need someone who specializes in conducting focus. The best to have an external monitor with a larger picture to get to see better what's in focus

and what is not. Good luck.

  • @ChrisReiben then how did you do it?

  • @ItsCallum In the video there are several times when the focus is lost. Monitored on camera, a person operating the camera in the grip and the other person adjusting focus. The cameraman is giving directions to focusman. Note also that both are film students, so they have some experience in controlling the focus.

  • @ChrisReiben Why not just use autofocus for sequences like this?

  • @ChrisReiben keeping the focus isnt to tough as long as you know what your subject will be doing and what marks hes going to hit.

  • Hey mate, I'm considering getting this rig due to its bargain price compared to the same by other companies. I don't expect it to be as high quality, but would you say it's worth the money overall? It doesn't feel so cheap that it's going to break or anything? Cheers.

  • @graemeh2 to put the parts together is a little pain in the ass but work great. The Follow focus is a piece of shit, but for the price, is the best you can get. I would recommend get another from a better company (zacuto, redrock) and use it with the pro-aim shoulder grip (make sure that follow focus will work fine with the 15mm standart rodes)

  • @ChrisReiben I might get the kit 20 and sell the FF online and get D|focus. I've read good things about it, and its only $140. The gears are adjustable and replaceable. Have you ever messed with D|focus?

  • How you get the aspect ratio so wide on FCP? What ratio?

  • @sbusumacinta That is a custom ratio, You should try with the widescreen filter and chose 2,33 o 2,35 ratio for widescreen

  • @ChrisReiben Thank you but I do not own this camera yet I was wondering if this is 2,33 o 2,35 ratio for widescreen that you mentioned is an option on the 550D camera's menu? Thank you

  • @sbusumacinta Nope, its a filter in final cut pro. there you can get more info: philipbloom. net/2010/03/16/how-to-export-and-upload-235-video-to-vimeo/ (with no spaces)

  • Wow, this looks really nice. Love the natural movements you can get with a shoulder rig. How do you like yours? I'm lookin into buying one from the same guys! :)
