Where did all the time go...i know. Sometimes it feels like yesterday. I was talking to an old Navy buddy tonight and we were so sad to hear of the passing of Whitney Houston. Her first 2 albums were the sound track to our lives while serving in the military. Music just isnt the same. Todays music is just awful.

I was talking to an old Navy buddy tonight and we were reminiscing over Whitney Houston(RIP...cant believe shes gone) and how her first 2 albums were the sound tracks of our lives while serving in the military. Music was so good back in the day. Music just isnt the same. I truly feel the generation gap.

This was released in 1985...I was still running loose and rampant on a college campus in Ohio named Wilberforce University. WOW....such memories. Used to slow drag to this every chance I got at the campus parties. Didn't graduate until 1987. Those were the days!!

@Logic1914 Youre absolutley right, it was released in the Fall of 1985. I was 20 yrs old. My brother and cousins were mad for this song. Bring back so many fun memories. That following year of 1986, I joined the Navy.

@enmaxus if you were 20 years old in 1985, then that means you were / are born only one year after me. I'm sure that your time in the Navy gave you just as many memories as my time in college did. Especially when it came to this song. Ah, the memories!! Where did all that time go??

nice song, i remember back in 1988 or 89. its been a while but the song is still nice then and now.. Its 2010 and a enjoy it now than in those years. perhaps cause I'm older and still here where many people my age are not...
