I love Whitney. But this is Miss Ross' song. Whitney doesn't seem like she even liked this song. She's singing it only half-way, if it was even that much.

I love Whitney and I enjoyed this well sung tribute. But I do think that it illustrates just how deep Diana's talents go. If you watch her early performances of this song you will hear a lot more nuance and energy than Whitney's version has. Diana echos the horns and fairly toots her way through. WHO'S giving the orders? WHO'S running the show? Diana! Always!
