It is so amazing, i.m.o. this is the most beautiful car ever made.

(and the 2nd is the cabrio Type 41 wich is also to see in this museum)

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

If I saw the Napoleon Royale driving down the street I'd probably soil myself.

My heart was skipping beats just watching this video.

I wonder, did they forgo the traditional side mount

spare tires to help give the car the illusion that it's

even longer than reality because of that never ending

    uninterrupted front fender line!?

  • French is the most beautiful language, I just wish I knew what she was saying.

  • wonder what the bill would be if you crashed it? O_o

  • c'est quoi le nom de la musique au début ?

  • the music is so sad, looks like someone is dead

  • People react like this all the time when I drive my civic with a 10 inch wing.

  • @caesiume thanks

  • name of the second song?

  • @battisottobanco I think it is a song by the band "All Saints".

  • ah...and yes...it is 300CV...200km/h maximum. More than 3 Tons.

  • I saw this car at the Bugatti Museum in France. There are only 6 Bugatty Royale in France and this museeum has two in two different types. I probably saw this one. The guide said it is 30 millions euros each. so...something around 45 millions dollars.

  • I can't imagine what it must actually feel like to ride in this, i mean the actual physical ride. Must be like floating on a cloud.

  • omfg, the girl is the little girl of Ettore bugatti ;o well the girl of jean.

  • omfg, the girl is the little girl of Ettore bugatti ;o

  • how much is one of these ? 50 million?

  • they dont make em like that anymore

  • 2 words !!!! HOLY SHIT !!!

  • valued at $10.million in the late 80s i would love to know whats its worth now

  • @sdavis732010

this one is estimated by some at $100 million dollars, but noone knows for sure.

probably the museum will never sell it. but what a car!

  • i want to buy one of those french POS royales,

bust the elephant off with a bat

    paint on some flames

melt down the silver hubcaps, replace with walmart chromed plastic

put a big mercedes logo on the front

get rid of the engine, replace with some american muscle

replace bugatti radiator with one from a rolls royce or bently

and finally set it on fire when i am bored with driving it

  • @datawraith3080 FAGGOT

  • @1999lev ooh struck a nerve did i?

the car you love has the same handle that i have on my toilet!

i am so sorry to hear about your tourette's syndrome,

    all the best

    -the faggot-

  • Comment removed

  • @datawraith3080 yeah, but not before you lower it, get rid of that interior fabric and replace with leopard skin seat covers, spray on privacy glass and cut out the rear leather and get some banging speakers in there! good idea about the chromed plastic hubcaps, but get the ones that spin !

  • @datawraith3080 Did you have fun Raping your dead mothers rotting corpse last night? I bet she was dry as fuck!

  • @datawraith3080 My toilet is worth more than your entire house

  • @1999lev so you have a 1 million dollar toilet?

  • nádhera

  • Please remove the bloody music and let us hear the sound of the engine.

  • la voiture est jolie

  • is that Ettore's great granddaughter?

  • All those cameras on the car and nobody uploaded a video clip with sound.

  • i would hire a bodyguard for this car

  • @nelis555 i think all those silver and black motorcycles are bodyguards =p

you would need them for this

  • Amazing.

  • tomsriv sorry you have it a little wrong ' it is a ' 12.8 litre straight 8 ' they had not invented the V8 in 1927 but what a beautuful car WOW ! ! ! it has to be the number one car in the world for sure..

  • @trebleclefts Your right, I meant straight 8. But the V8 was invented by then, in fact Cadillac had one in 1914. But they were not as reliable as straight 8s. When Ford invented the better and cheaper casting process they became commonplace.

  • @trebleclefts

Wrong. The first V8 appeared in 1902 by Leon Levavasseur in an Antoinette.

As a matter of fact the 1905 Darracq Land Speed record car had a 200hp V8 and it did 109,6mph (176,5km/h) the same year. This V8 engined Darracq can be seen here on youtube. Hard to believe a 105 year old car can be driven so fast.

Cadillac introduced their V8 in 1914 and sold 13,000 of them.

Also Hispano Suiza made some 49,800 V8 engines for World War ONE fighter aircraft from 1914-1918.

  • 12.7 Liter V8! I wish I could hear it run, thats better than any music. I understand it was a locomotive engine.

  • The most beautiful car in the world - without doubt.

  • most expensive car in the world right here!

  • The song is "le mépris" (1963). Author: Georges Delerue (french composer)

  • whts the of this song ?dont anyone know?

  • La voiture est si grande que l'on a l'impression qu'elle est conduite par des nains de jardin! Quelle ligne sublime! Triste qu'on entend pas le son du moteur.

  • this beats the veyron in style and class.

  • i own this car, except when i wake up in the morning it's gone

  • the theme song??

    Thanks :)

  • that thing is LONG!

  • @jacco121212 length in a car it adds so much style... not to mention this thing weighs right around 7000 pounds =p

  • From Brasil star five

  • Opravdový král.

  • if you think that you can buy one of these thinks

dream nicely further it is 14,000,000 €

  • @jacco121212

Hum... In fact, The Type 41 "Coupé Napoléon" is estimated at 24 000 000 euros.

All Bugatti Type 41 Royale haven't the same value...

  • Takes my breath away. The story goes, Mrs. Bugatti, a very small woman could drive the car around easily in the 1920's. The only reason only six were made is driving a million dollar car around during the depression years was a great way to get your butt whupped.

  • Considering what starving French folks did to the aristocracy during their revolution, can't say I blame them.

  • Can't you just see how beautiful this creation is without bring in the negatives.

  • worf of art

  • I didnt know they actually drove some of the Royales! WOW!

  • @NextGenerationMovies if you owned one wouldn't you

  • wawawiwa itsa verry niiice! hi5

  • Probably the best car in the world ever built.

  • i use to live next to that city back in france... i live in spain now... i lived in: Boulogne-Billancourt, right next to ...wait.. this is St-Cloud, not Port de St. Cloud.. nevermind

  • @superjan101079 and the most expensive car ever

  • @superjan101079

NOT TO MENTION THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ! NO IMAGE OR VIDEO DOES IT JUSTICE AND HAVING SEEN THE COUPE NAPOLEON AT PEBBLE BEACH SOME YEARS AGO, NO WORDS ARE ADEQUATE TO DESCRIBE IT'S ELEGANT PRESENCE.

  • @superjan101079 probably the WORST car in the world ever built

    here is why

1- Financial failure for bugatti, nearly bankrupted the company.. the car pictured was NEVER SOLD

2- terrible fuel economy and tiny gas tank- limited range

3- largest engine ever fitted in a production vehicle, but still lacking in any sort of power or speed

4- terrible handling characteristics, suspension is soft and saggy...

    IT DRIVES LIKE A BUS

5- it is ugly.. (and i like old cars.. but not ones out of proportion)

    bye

  • @superjan101079 nah do not think so. There are a lot more cars over there. For example, the Lincoln Continental 1940, a true american masterpiece, the...my point is that the Bugatti is already a cliché, like French food and French wine. People think is the best car in the world, but there are some other cars a hundred times better than that.

  • Nice car like neo classic Panther De Ville insiperd by the Bugatti Type 41 Royale!

  • 1:58

  • wat? 3 ugly bitches...

  • Could anyone please tell me the name of the first and last song in this video?

  • Ettore would just be so happy to see it driving not stuck in a museum

  • @BigNites2 You hit the nail on the head, these cars were made to be driven not to stand for a couple of decades in a museum.

  • I saw this car last weekend IRL at the museum in Mulhouse

  • screech005. Your thoughts on this issue are quiet daft. By your reasoning would you then say that the Chev Corvette is not an American car, but rather Belgian, as Zora Arkus Duntov the "father" of the Corvette was born in Belgium, the son of Russian-Jews? How about the MINI, after all its creator was the Greek born Alxander Issigonis?

  • Well put!

  • most beatiful car ever

  • I love this old french car. I think it is the most beautiful car off the world!

  • Bugatti automobile company was founded in Molsheim, a town in the Alsace, part of Germany and after 1919 a region of France. Ettore Bugatti was born in Milan, Italy. If you had read more carefully he stated "old French car" not old Frenchman.

  • Italian man makes the car so it Italian

  • Your reasoning is strange...

Ettore Bugatti was Italian, OK, but Bugatti is a french company.

  • then the Duesenberh must be considered a german car then since the Duesenberg brothers were born in Germany

wrong, the Duesenberg is seen as an american car

  • Bugatti was founded in Molsheim, little town in Alsace, part of France until 1871, part of Germany betwen 1871and 1919. In 1919, Alsace became definitively french. Ettore Bugatti was born in Italia, but he was naturalized french.

This Bugatti Royale is a old french car... not italian.

  • some comments here are really stupid...hahaha....that bugatti is beautiful...

  • @ArsenalGear3000 WHAT?! how can you say that?

  • I like the music, love the car.

What's the name of the song ?

  • That's Pure Shores by All Saints

...and the car is magnificent !!!

  • CRAP!!I bet you in New zealand there has never been a single bugatti. that car is 21 million nz dollors.

  • Speaking as a designer, I consider this car one of the most perfectly proportioned and aesthetically pleasing practical designs in all history. Love at first sight.

  • reminds me of old Europe times,Black cars ...

  • You = epic fail + massive tard. The most over-engineered car ever made.

  • you keep driving that fuckin audi dumbass

  • actually I drive a BMW. Made my account when I was looking at an audi, but yeah I like my car so i will keep driving it. Just don't understand how you could say that about this car. It is one of the most amazing vehicles in the history of the world.

  • ya ok buddy, you keep hitt'n that crack pipe

  • Um, what? You just keep making insults, I'm not saying anything untrue. What is so god-awful about this car? Let me guess youre just gonna call me another name.

  • you insulted me first....and you keep saying rediculous things

  • Yes, because you said something frankly stupid. What have I said that's ridiculous? You still haven't said why this car is so horrible.

  • i'm tired of this conversion. you win

  • I'm going to save up and buy one!

  • the driver has a crap seat.

  • I fall in love

  • This the original or that replica made for 1.1 million or so? wish I had this car, but then again, parking...hmmmmm....

  • It's the original!

  • WOW WOW WOW...amazing video, thanks so much for posting!!!!

  • At last, a close up look on video at the mighty Royale.

  • funny car
