it's way easier to get a silent photo shot....just turn of the sound with the upper button next to the output jack and you're good to go....but the time frame option is cool!

Ive heard that the PALM PRE doesnt have a video camera is there possible way u could create a video camera app...and is it easy to create app for the new web os

How easy is it to write apps for the pre? It's all javascript based if I remember correctly but I'm not quite sure about the intricacies of it. I know there's the mojo sdk but I'm not sure if that's available to anyone/everyone. Do you have to do anything special do get dev access (i.e. sign up to be a dev like with the iPhone?) or can you just start making apps once you have the pre?

Can you possibly set the volume buttons as a shutter? doing self portraits isn't so easy with both possible shutter buttons being on the other side.

Incase you guys didnt know, hitting the spacebar on the keyboard will also take a picture.

It comes in handy when trying to take a photo of yourself, so your not left bumbling around on the touchscreen button..
