35 years involved with the church in some way shape of form, I can honestly say I can only recall knowing 1 black family in the church, and have seen 1 black missionary! This video is true. I was raised mormon and was taught that blacks were the result of a curse upon Cain. He was marked with a black skin that was, as the book of mormon calls it "loathsome to God". Something that is loathsome is something that is hated in a strong way. The book of mormon also continues to state that God cursed the people the in the americas with black skin, so that the "white and delightsome" people would not mix their seed with them. Those that mixed, would be cursed also.

Because the BOM has absolutely nothing to do with Mormonism; when Smith wrote it (stealing from the Bible as he went), he was of a Trinitarian opinion, which changed in the late 1830s, and that's when we see the really strange stuff coming out: autosoterism, polygamy, WOW, reinstatement of the priesthoods, etc.

The Mormon concept of the apostacy isn't Biblical at all. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 makes it clear that some shall leave the fold, but not all.

Because the BOM in 1 Nephi clearly states that in Smith's day, all churches on earth were an abomination before God, and this is confirmed by Smith's own account of the Furst Vision (or rather, one of his accounts) in Joseph Smith-History 1:18.

Thank you for sharing this video. I almost joined thier church. It was my husband who is non black that did the research. I was shocked to find out how little they really tell you about thier religion. I went to one of the churches or wards a couple of times. I felt comfortable and @ home. But when I found out the truth, I felt like a fool. I wonder how many people don't know that this religion is founded and based on racism. I wish them well, I don't hate them but am hurt by them.
Mormonism hasn't changed its theology, only its public stance, image. It's the same with the Mormon Polygamy Revelation::: They want to practice it and they will again, the revelation is unchanged from its inception. You can't say that of the Book of Mormon.
@IExposeMormonism The church has been polishing its image since the early 1970s and permitting blacks to hold the priesthood probably would've been seen earlier than 1978 if not for Harold B. Lee, the single hold-out against it.

If one refutes that it is possible for God to send new doctrinal positions to his people...then one must refute the new testament and therefore you refute Christianity as a whole.

Up until the time of Paul, no body who could not prove their direct genealogical connection to one of the tribes of Israel, could receive the Gospel. This is one of the main basic tenets that Paul fought so vehemently over in the New Testament.
His position was that after Christ died this teaching had changed and opened the way for the Gentiles to receive the saving Christian ordinances of baptism and the Holy Ghost through laying on of hands.

This continued down until June 8, 1978. When current president of the church, Spencer W. Kimball received a revelation from God, authorizing a change in this position.
Many have disputed that God would have done this quoting that God never changes.
However it must be remembered that a similar transition occurred in new testament.

This video is true. I was raised mormon and was taught that blacks were the result of a curse upon Cain. He was marked with a black skin that was, as the book of mormon calls it "loathsome to God". Something that is loathsome is something that is hated in a strong way. The book of mormon also continues to state that God cursed the people the in the americas with black skin, so that the "white and delightsome" people would not mix their seed with them. Those that mixed, would be cursed also.

Because the BOM has absolutely nothing to do with Mormonism; when Smith wrote it (stealing from the Bible as he went), he was of a Trinitarian opinion, which changed in the late 1830s, and that's when we see the really strange stuff coming out: autosoterism, polygamy, WOW, reinstatement of the priesthoods, etc.

The Mormon concept of the apostacy isn't Biblical at all. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 makes it clear that some shall leave the fold, but not all.

I was shocked to find out how little they really tell you about thier religion. I went to one of the churches or wards a couple of times. I felt comfortable and @ home. But when I found out the truth, I felt like a fool. I wonder how many people don't know that this religion is founded and based on racism. I wish them well, I don't hate them but am hurt by them.

Mormonism hasn't changed its theology, only its public stance, image. It's the same with the Mormon Polygamy Revelation::: They want to practice it and they will again, the revelation is unchanged from its inception. You can't say that of the Book of Mormon.

@IExposeMormonism The church has been polishing its image since the early 1970s and permitting blacks to hold the priesthood probably would've been seen earlier than 1978 if not for Harold B. Lee, the single hold-out against it.
But overall, you're right in that the church's public image has been carefully constructed to appear Christian in spite of the un-Biblical garbage it still believes and teaches.

All the Mormons are doing is going into these destroyed black neighborhoods and literally helping these people get off the streets educational programs job training, drug rehab programs, food voucher and unemployment and rent assistance also promoting marriage and restoration of the black family.
