  • so if you get 45-60 good shots from discovery, what would be the average with the marauder on co2 since the resevoir is bigger?

  • @beretmp15 I own a Benjamin Marauder and i get around 16(two magazines) constistant shot because the shot shoots a ton of air.

  • can all pcp rifles be filled with co2?

  • @TheAirgunReviews

No, usually PCP rifles cannot be filled with CO2, but there are few that can: AirForce air rifles, Benjamin Discovery, Benjamin Marauder, Crosman Challenger.

    Thank you,

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • do you think a 200 psi air compressor would be able to fill it if i pumped the air compressors tank and reconnected it t the gun and filled it again till i reached the 2000 or more psi?

  • Hi I was wondering what kind of air compressor you were using.

  • @halofreak2012

It was an air compressor that Pyramyd Air discontinued years ago. However, we do have other compressors. You just have to make sure to have the right adapters/couplings to fill it.

    Thank you,

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • must have chronied the gun using hpa.

  • do you guys sell the little co2 Adapter online

  • @GoProLife44

Hello, could you clarify which CO2 adapter you are looking for?

    Thank you,

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair the one you put on the 88 gram CO2 tank then put that into the Benjamin CO2 & Air Fill Adapter

  • Can you change the stock???

    Thanks

  • @tom24348

Yes, and we still have Benjamin Katana stocks availble (not for long).

    Thank you,

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair Thanks but not wood one I prefer synthetic stock

  • @tom24348

I see. I am not aware of the synthetic stocks being available for the Discovery.

    Thank you,

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair Thanks for answering me

  • why shouldn't you mix high pressure air and co2.

  • Pyramyd... Looking to upgrade my 9 year old son to this rifle from his Crosman Raven. I own the Marauder and love it. How is the length of pull on the stock for the Discovery? I think he would need something a bit shorter than the Marauder. Any assistance would be great! Thanks in advance...

  • @FangarJim

LOP on Discovery is 14". It might be a little too long for your son, but you could cut the stock down (it's solid wood).

    Thank you,

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair Thanks for the info. I picked him up the Discovery from Pyramyd. As always, excellent service. It fits him just fine. A VERY loud rifle!!!!! I picked him up a muzzle brake. Hope that helps. A great rifle though for sure.

  • @MrCoolskills86

Yes, it is OK to leave air in the reservoir.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • hey guys the benjamin discovery or benjamin marauder if i get the marauder ill have to wait a year

  • @paul...correction its 3/4"-1".not 3/4'-1'

  • @nathoi

Benjamin HP and Crosman HP are basically the same pellet. Are you shooting on CO2 or air?

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair i'm using hpa.before i was using several brands of pellet(2,000rounds) but settled for crosman.additional info, i put wd40 after cleaning with hoppe's no.9 to prevent rust.applied several patches to remove the traces of oil in it.i checked the smoothness of the barrel by passing a pellet through it but found no problem.i was so puzzled since i did not changed anything.

  • @nathoi

Problem could be related to the use of such products as Hoppes No. 9 and WD40 as petroleum is dangerous with HPA and harmful to seals. You should never use petroleum products with PCP guns and never around rubber seals. Inspection of the bolt o-ring may find it damaged and also possibly air transfer port gasket.

We are an authorized Crosman repair station. Please give Crosman or us a call and we may need to have the product returned and inspected.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Comment removed

  • @pyramydair i detached the barrel for cleaning.only the barrel is cleaned with hoppe's no.9 and wd40.never on seals and o-rings.

  • @nathoi

I see. Please give us a call, will discuss and see what we can figure out over the phone.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair i have already found the solution.it only needs re-leading of the barrel.i shoot 30-50 rounds (after cleaning for lead) to get back its accuracy.now i know the character of my barrel.its not accurate with a very clean barrel.i just discovered this accuracy problem when i cleaned the barrel for lead(2,000 rounds).thanks to other forums here in youtube.and also the kindness of pyramyd air team.

  • hi any idea about the difference between crosman premier hp and benjamin discovery hp pellets?

  • hi paul.i just wanna ask why my discovery .22's accuracy has changed.when i received my unit it shoots pretty well(one whole) with benjamin discovery pellets and crosman premier hp at 20m(using grip for barrel testing).when i reached 2,000 shots my disco no longer shoot good groupings at 20m.so i cleaned up my barrel using hoppe's no.9 and i found out there was a lot of lead.after cleaning it, i tried barrel testing at 20m but groupings showed no good(3/4'-1').do you have idea on this?

  • Hey Paul is a magazine for this gun

  • @mrderickman

No, there are no magazines for the Disco. It's a single shot rifle.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • What velocities are you getting with 14.3 ammunition with HPA?

Also what psi are you shooting it down till you know you need a refill?

    Thanks,

    Chase

  • @AirGunHunterMaine

You should be at around 700 fps with 14.3 in HPA mode. Once you are below 1000 PSI you will need to refill.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • will this gun fit a magazine?

  • @ZamaSoldier

No, Benjamin Discovery is a single shot air rifle.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair is there any air gun that comes with a pump that is a repeater for around 400? if not how much would just a pump cost. i really don't want 2 spend 200 on a pump. ty

  • @ZamaSoldier

You could go for a Hammerli Pneuma + Air Venturi G4 pump. You will be a over $400, but below $500.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • what's the most accurate pellet in this rifle?.22cal i mean.

  • @nathoi

It's impossible to predict which pellet will be most accurate in each air rifle. Every barrel is slightly different. Please try the ones recommended on our web site (buy 3-4 different kinds) and then you will discover which ones are most accurate in your specific air rifle.

    Thank you

    Peramyd Air Team

  • Watching your two-part video, we really don't see any redeeming qualities in the Marauder, compared to most high-end air-guns, especially using a scope! It's simply too noisy without suppressor and its velocities are simply too slow to hold any degree of constant accuracy, which is A Big Deal! On a one to ten, we’d give the Marauder a generous 3...a mediocre gun at best. There are plenty of other true QUALITY air-guns that easily exceeds this inaccurate slowpoke!

    Kindly said

  • @1LonePuma these are bugget pcp guns. not everyone is as rich as you are. and do you even own a benjamin marauder? or are you just judging the book by its cover here? btw i saw your same comment on airgunweb's video. you are obviously dont know shit about airgun and maybe not old enough to buy one. FUCK OFF.

  • The good thing about Co2 is it's easy and cheap to obtain froma local welding supply house or paintball outfitter. You don't need to buy a high pressure air tank or mess with hand pumps.

  • how far down range are the targets you shoot?

  • @redteg1

    20 yards.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @redteg1

Hi, will the Co2 addaptor fit on a 5# bulk industrial Co2 bottle?

Already set up with one of those for my match airguns.

  • Where is part 1

  • Is it posssible to mount a bipod on this rifle?

  • @Weil223

Yes, could you mount a bipod on Discovery.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Hi guys. Great stuff you have here. Please keep it coming! I would like to know if the co2 fps is different than hpa? If so by how much? I ask because im looking to buy my first pcp and this is #1 on my list. Thanks in advance.

  • @Robocorps2

Yes, you will get less velocity out of CO2. It could be as much as a few hundred fps (depends on caliber, and pellet weight). Please remember CO2 operates at 700 PSI, while HPA operates at 3,000 PSI.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @Robocorps2

In some states regulations are stated in such a way where an airgun is classified as a firearm depending on velocity WITHOUT specifying the pellet weight (for example IL: 700 fps). Additionally, often law suits/claims are made about power of the airgun based on the published velocity.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • 600 something fps is somewhat far away from the advertised 900 fps....

  • @177or22

Paul was doing testing with heavy pellets. Advertised velocity is published with the lightest pellets (for many reasons, including legal ones).

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair understood, thank you.

  • BTW, does that mean all the speed figures of air guns in the webstore are based on shooting the lightest pellets?

  • @pyramydair So, what ARE the legal reasons for Airgun companies publishing advertised velocity with the lightest pellets? Enlighten me.

  • how big of a difference is this rifle and the benjamin marauder in terms of accuracy? is the discovery still a good buy? or should i get the marauder instead? thanks.

  • @Brobb101

Accuracy subject probably cannot be covered in a short response, however I will attempt to give the answer in the context of the question. Both air rifles are manufactured at the same plant, and use the same barrels, as such there is no reason to believe that at the same short distance there will be a difference in accuracy between the two. However, at longer distances the more powerful air rifle should be able to deliver more consistent shots in terms of POI.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air

  • You have great show I would talk about how cool airforce guns Are I will miss crystal just because she is so good looking and she is hot

  • How would you compare the R9 to the Benjamin Discovery PCP with regards to small game hunting?? I am thinking about how the increased ft/lbs of the discovery translates to knockdown power

  • @Grandforce89

We have not completed a test on Beeman R9 in .22 to measure it's muzzle energy, but I am not sure it's much lower (if it's lower) than Benjamin Discovery. What's leading you to believe otherwise?

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair Well the pyramydair site quotes the muzzle energy of the Discovery at about 23 ft/lbs and since the .20 caliber Beeman is achieving just under 16 or so ft/lbs i thought the .22 would not be too much higher. Correct me if I'm wrong

  • @Grandforce89

Beeman R9 .22 is unlikely to be much higher than .20 caliber, you are correct.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • How would you compare the R9 to the Benjamin Discovery PCP with regards to small game hunting?? I am thinking about how the increased ft/lbs of the discovery translates to knockdown power

  • I want this gun so bad but 102DB!Is there anyway that it could be quieter? because this is the perfect gun for me:)

  • I noticed in your video...you took the gun over to an air compressor. What type compressor did you use? I thought you needed a tank or pump?

  • @vantage1200

Paul used a compressor that we no longer import (due to design issues, there were a lot of issues in the fields). You can however get a compressor we currently are selling, by AirTex on our web site. Search for: PY-A-3549 on our web site.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Ive noticed the Barrel Band has been moved from its factory position on the rifle Paul is shootiing in this review. Why is that???

  • What pellet would be best for the .22 cal disco., the JSB 15.8 grain (domed), or the JSB 18.1 grain (domed)?

  • @xOSUfan33x

Both will do well. 18.1 is recommended for hunting over 15.8.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair Thanks a lot!

  • Hi all, can any one tell me what is the max Power adjustment for the 22 cal, and how many shots can you get per fill?

  • @malexan11

You would get up to 25 powerful shots in .22 caliber. It's about 23 ft/lbs at max power in .22.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @16ozHaterade

Regular BBs are made from steel. Benjamin Discovery has rifled barrel. Regular steel BBs would ruin rifling of the barrel. Additionally since the diameter of the BBs is slightly less than the traditional .177 they will not fit into the barrel snugly and will most likely just roll out of it.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Hi all, can any one tell me what is the max Power adjustment for the 22 cal on this rifle, and how many shots can you get per fill?

    Thank you

  • if i use open sights with this rifle will the clip get in the way so that i couldnt see the iron sights. thanks

  • @october3ful

    Which clip?

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • does it come with the degasser?

  • @christianhunter96

Unfortunately not, you would need to purchase degasser tool separately (click on the Accessories link on our web page).

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • how many fills did you get from the 88gr tank ? Mike

  • Which one is better for hunting (squirrels, crows, or rabbits) The benjamin mardaur or the benjamin discovery?

  • @huntandfish11

Marauder is a better rifle for many reasons (Marauder is multi-shot and allows you to send a follow up shot quickly in case you missed, Marauder is more powerful, and is a quieter gun).

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • So wheres the first part of this video???

  • What is the difference between the co2 fill adapter ($35) and co2 and air fill ($65) do I really need a bleed valve?? Also is the discovery's trigger metal or plastic?

  • @nerdkiller15

The $65 version comes with a release valve. Yes, you certainly need it to properly detach your CO2 or HPA tank from the hose.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @NCAstronut Not to mention the fact that he is using Co2 when measuring the velocity, which produces a much lower velocity than high pressure air.

  • how do you spell the name of the thing you use to tell the speed? i'm thinking to buy one but i cant spell it.

  • @jakehejkal

    It's called Shooting Chrony.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @NCAstronut

I think it's best if you talk to one of our sales people on the phone. Please call between 9 am and 6 pm and they should be able to help you much faster than here.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @NCAstronut

Thank you. Yes, it's a good point. Since the gun is duel-fuel, you can use it with CO2 for a while.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @NCAstronut

The regular compressor cannot do the job, it needs to be able to pump 2,000 PSI (for this particular PCP air rifle). There is a Disco combo: gun + pump for $360+.

It's not a regular pump, but a 3-stage pump, hence the expense...

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @NCAstronut

Manufacturers publish max possible velocities for a few reasons (liability reasons + marketing). The 900 fps is very possible from this air rifle with light ammo.

    Discovery is a good airgun.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • How much more fps can you get out of compressed air? And do they sell smaller compressed air tank like for paintball guns that i can use with the benjamin co2 adapter?

  • @rcthrasher

You can get the small 2000 PSI modified tanks at our site. Do a search for: PY-A-2152. You could get additional 100 fps when running on air.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair Do i need a 2000 psi tank or would a HPA paintball tank with a regulator work?

  • @rcthrasher

If the regulator allows you to take the pressure down to 2,000 PSI you should be OK.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • You should post a video on how to install a bipod. What do I need to do this?

  • if i get this rifle do you think i can hunt turkey with it? also... how do i fill it up with 2000 psi of air if i dont have a hand held pump?

  • @t0ejam007

What distance do you hunt turkey at? You could use this rifle in .22 cal to do that depending on distance. You will need a pump, scuba tank or compressor to charge the air rifle.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair what kind of compressors can you use? Will my local scuba store be able to re fill a tank it i get one? will any scuba tank work? thanks and great vid once again.

  • @t0ejam007

Yes, any scuba tank should work. They are either 3,000 PSI or 4,500 PSI. You just need to make sure to use proper adapters since Disco only goes up to 2,000 PSI.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Benjamin Discovery .22 .. its written a**hole

  • is this the 22 or the 177

  • @soixe1997

The rifle comes in both calibers.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • hey,

i have the choise of a benjamin disco ant the hw90 my dad sed that i can choise so what is the best dont look at the price (personel)

it's hor hunting and that stuff

    greetz

  • @JorgeyBE

This is your decision. Disco needs to be charged, HW90 is a break barrel that does not require any additional gadgets to charged, but requires more technique from you to shoot accurately.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • hey,

can i adjust the power of my disco?

i saw it with the marauder so...

    thanks

  • @JorgeyBE

    Not without purchasing aftermarket parts.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • I like your vids but i have a question about the benjamin discovery you no that peep sight you guys have from crossman peep sight it says it fits any curent benjamin models. i just want to know if it fits. i want this site because i usally hunt 30 yards or less on squirrels but i shoot ravens in the chest out to 50 yards with iron sights.

if you could tell me if they fit this would be real helpful thank you

  • Crosman 64 peep sight will not fit the Discovery. You may try Air Arms rear sights we will confirm to make sure.

    Thank you,

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Thanks.. alto video!

  • does any one now which is more accurate air arms s400 or the air arms s200?

    thanks

  • Always depends on distance. At long range S400 would definitely be more accurate. At short distance - both can be made to be equally accurate (the right pellet for each barrel/rifle would need to be found to get there).

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • thanks i am probably going to get the s400

then because its more accurate at a distance

    thanks.

  • I am going to answer some questions now and the rest in 1-2 days.

You can refill your CO2 bulk tanks in any nearby paintball store.

Yes, an average strength person can fill up Marauder using a hand pump.

    Thank you,

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • can you please tell me how loud it is compared to a .22 rifle and how to make it quieter

  • It's less loud than .22. If you want to get a quite PCP air rifle there are a few on the market: AirForce Talon SS, Benjamin Marauder, Air Arms S410, Evanix Blizzard S10. All of these come with a shrouded barrel which makes the air rifle very quiet.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • I am torn between getting a discovery and and the rws 48/52. I know most people will say the discovery blows the socks off the rws but there is just something about the rws the intrigues me that i cannot yet put my finger on.

What about durability and likeliness or breakdown????

  • Grandforce89,

Good question. What distances and what game are you planning on hunting or is it for some other purposes?

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • I am thinking along the lines of 20 - 50 yards. The thing is i live outside of the us and will be buying to take back home. I dont want to spend 500+ on a gun and accessories and after a few months i have to find some way to send back for repair.

    Which is more powerful?? ft/lbs

  • RWS 48/52 is definitely more powerful than Disco with CO2, and possibly than Disco HPA, however both would be OK for the small game hunting in the specified range.

If you do not have a repair shop close to your house, I would definitely recommend to go with the RWS 48/52 and get a 10-4-10 service (to make sure to eliminate the unlikely chance you get a lemon out of the box).

RWS 48/52 is very smooth to cock.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • Thank you so much. You have been a great help in helping me make my decision.

    One Love

  • will a suppresor minimize the power of this rifle?

  • If by suppressor you mean silencer, then no, it would not. Please be aware of the fact that any real silencer requires BATF approval even if it's a silencer for an airgun.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair and what about something like the gamo whisper has?

  • That's slightly different. That suppressor is permanently attached to the barrel and you cannot take it off the rifle unless you saw it off. However even with that understanding and even though you are in the clear from BATF prospective, if you live in MI, you cannot own a silenced airgun (Gamo Whisper, Benj. Marauder, Air Arms S410, Talon SS, etc. cannot be sold in MI freely as airguns)

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair i live in california. But is there a way to get the gun custom into haveng the suppresor built in?

  • It would require replacing an entire barrel. There are plenty of silent airguns (Air Arms S410, Evanix S10, Benj. Marauder, AirForce Talon SS, just to name a few). They all come with shrouded barrels and many are quieter than a spring air rifle like Whisper...

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • @pyramydair do you know were i can get that done on the benjamin discovery?

  • Try visiting AirgunArena and see if somebody can answer that question on a forum there... It might cost too much though (more than you would pay for an already shrouded Marauder, let's say)

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • why isn't the first part available? or where is it?

  • The first part is available on our web site (one of the first AGR episodes)

  • is the benjamin discovery good for small game huntng im looking for aout 1000 to 1200 fps can you recomend me something

  • Yes, this air rifle is suitable for small game hunting (e.g. chipmunks).

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • can it kill squirrels or racoons or birds? even rabbits it seems weak

  • You can certainly hunt rabbits with Discovery. Up to 30-40 yards on PCP. We recommend .22 cal for hunts.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • ok well im brand new for air rifle so i was wondering whats the difference between .177 and .22 i thouht .177 has better fps and sorr for the questions can you recomend me a good gun for $450 or less?

  • Think about energy/pellet weight AND velocity, not just velocity. We have a muzzle energy calculator on our web site (under articles). What would inflict more damage: a slowly moving Harley bike or a fast moving kids bicycle?

$450 - if this is a hard limit and you are looking for multi-shot, get a HaleStorm. A new PCP will be available this Friday (single shot): Benjamin Katana for probably around that price.

    Thank you,

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • well i see know so when picking a gun i should be looking at other stuff not just velocity well thank you and i love your show nice and intersting do you hunt small game or exclusively targets?

  • I personally do not hunt, but many of our customer service and sales reps do.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • ok but im really intersted in the benjamin disco is it reliable because me and my friedns like to chill out in his little i gues huntng fort for like 4 hours and hunt but is this gun good and should i get .177 or .22

  • If you need it for hunting, get .22. Before you make up your mind, check Benjamin Katana on our site this Friday.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • so is the sumatra 2500 on your website anygood?

  • It's definitely more powerful than Disco (much more powerful), it's also much louder. It's outside of your $450 price range. If you are willing to spend a little more I can mkae some more suggestions... (Evanix Blizzard, AirForce)

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • yeah im willing to go to $480to $490 i dont want to loud and i want a nice look thats why i really like th disco and the sumatra

  • Ok, at that price your only options are: Disco, HaleStorm, Marauder, Sumatra.

    Out of all of them:

Sumatra is the most powerful (mot loud).

HaleStorm is next powerful (pretty loud).

Marauder is the quietest (really, really quiet) and has plenty of power.

    Discovery is least powerful.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • so the discovery can easily kill squirrel because i deciding between a summatra or a disco whick can shoot more bullets and can any air compressor work ti fill these guns?

  • Disco will do the job.

    10 good shots from Sumatra

    20 good shots from Disco

Not every compressor can charge these. It needs to be a 3,000 PSI compressor.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • can the sumatra mount a scope?

  • Yes, Sumatra comes with a standard 11mm dovetail.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • man i cant decide what whould you recommend the summatra or the benjamin discovery for small game hunting and un sorry for bothering you with all these questions

  • It is a tough choice. Why don't you try reading some of the articles we have on each gun on our site? Also feel free to see what other customers say...

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • well i decided on the disco thank you for helping me through ill be purchasing it from your site soon do you know if i can get like a 2 year ot 1 year warrantary?

  • The gun comes with the 1 year warranty from the manufacturer. Thank you for your interest.

    Thank you

    Pyramyd Air Team

  • hey i heard that spring are better and cheaper than co2 is this true and if so can you recommend me a good spring rifle for 450 or less?

  • I can recommend a good spring air rifle for < $250 :-) Look at RWS 34 Striker Combos on our web site.

  • ok well thank you im going with a spring their alot cheaper and seem better are they?

  • Springers are definitely a lot cheaper and do not require special equipment to charge. They do require some technique/getting used to which is different from a firearm hold.

Start with a springer and if you get tired of cocking it by hand for each shot you will be buying a PCP air rifle soon :-)

  • yeah i think if i get into it ill buy the discovery because its one beautiful gun but its too much money

  • ok this might be a dumb question but when i watch your videos when you take out the thing that measure thes fps why is it that the gun says it has about 1000 but when really it seem like t has 700 600 or 800 do you know why?

  • There are no dumb questions. Real reason is that manufacturers rate their air rifles with the max possible velocity (achieved with the lightest pellet). It's done that way for 2 reasons (liability and marketing).

  • oh ok i see but ahhhh i hate making decisions im not sure what to get its so hard i cant make a decision to save a life so im getting a gun for hunting could 600 fps kill a squirrel or bird?

  • Yes, it can. 1000 fps with a light pellet, but better 600 fps with a heavy pellet will do the job.

    Thank you
