Armored Core 4 wasn't bad. FA was bad. AC4 wasn't bad because it was still sort of slow and they introduced quickboost which, as we all know, was a great addition to the series. FA however, was honestly just too damn fast, if it was slowed down and had better maps, it would be great. Both games needed better maps.AC5 will be amazing.

First off, stop saying Armored Core 4 and FA are the best. They deviated from the original style and gameplay which almost killed the series for me. Armored Core 5 is going back to the basics and I applaud them for that.

@ pbs4777, Armored Core is the one most popular mech games in existence, probably tied with Mechwarrior. So, watch your mouth. They should never stop this series.

Well the gameplay isn't going to be slow but it's not going to be as fast as for answer. The last armored core was way to fast to the point that sword nexts in multiplayer where disliked by some folks. It was a little unfair since it seemed like people where teleporting because of how fast some folks could move.

I think this game wont compare to Ac4 or Acfa at all. At most I've seen a quad ac and now a tank. The designs look borish and they have probably taken away the quick boost. Whats the story going to be about and what will the role of the raven play in this game? Guess Acfa all day everyday :(

Yes, they've taken away the quick boost. It was far too newbie-friendly. Slowing down the AC's in game play to the point that you literally can't dodge stuff with out the quick boost and letting newbies just pound on that with their feather weights was a bad choice. The designs are.. yes.. er.. interesting, but at least the tanks look good again. The quads and RJ's look fine too, I'm still iffy on the humanoids. If you watch gameplay vids it's fA's superior, however.

DUDE!!!! iv been an Armored Core Fan Since it first came out for the PlayStation and till this day i have the latest game for it. so to see that they are making this new one.. it makes me feel very happy. hopefully for the heck of it they bring * 9 Ball * in to the story somehow or at lest his parts because he was the coolest AC i ever saw till this day.
