  • QUE LENTO ERES!!

  • Awww :3

  • Nah this ending sux. Better was like that. After transormation she is getting closer.

-Hey wait, i got a present for ya. *ka-chuck* *BOOM*. He-he what a mess!

  • I look at it as a metaphor for life. Like when you're a kid, you're naive and everything seems fine and good, but as you grow up you realize the world is a scary place. Then at the end, the main character becomes corrupt by lust, which could also translate to the want for anything "dirty" really. And then he gets it ;D...<3

  • I have the weirdest boner right now

  • My thoughts when I finally got the good ending:

    "Finally!! Whew!!"

*princess transforms* "Wait?! She still turned?!!"

    *you transform* "Wait?! WHAT?!!"

*Eye with heart in the background* "WTF??!!!!!!" XD Nice game!!

  • well, lol. the new level 8 is actually easier... though much longer.

video maker, be prepared to make maybe 2 parts if you wanna make the walkthrough for new stage 8.

  • @06cloud or maybe just 2 minutes, if you get very pro.

  • Yeah, this level 8 sucked. Waiting around would kill any effect.

  • Oh god that ending just made it worse.

  • This ending definitely puts the rest of the game into a different perspective. The "bad" ending convinced you that you had failed by rescuing the wrong princess a la Mario; turns out the problem was actually that your character had yet to complete a very important transformation...

  • The heart beat sound is so fucking creepy.

  • D'awwwwwwwwwww....

  • ..this is so odd

  • Oh how cute, they love each other.

  • CUTE

  • what a twist...

  • Wow... I'm about to see if I can get this on steam, so... yea. Wish me luck.

  • Awwwww They are so cute together!

  • Would you be able to make an updated walkthrough? I'm stuck in a certain part and I'm completely stuck.. :(

  • When i downloaded this game i thought "stupid childish mario rip-off"

    SUDDENLY EVERSION

  • so how do u get 2 lvl 8 i got all the gems? i donno if that matters tho so yer :P ??

  • @eeeeeeeman after getting all the gems u have to go back were u started at level 7 and evert then finish the level

  • the ending had a really nice touch

  • What got me the most was how in the first mood, all the monsters are like happy little guys and the bricks are all smiling, then in the darkest mood all the monsters are like demonic beasts and the bricks are all dead.

  • This game creeps the hell out of me. It's not overtly scary, it just... gets to me.

  • That's sweet~

    Look how happy they are!

  • I love the good ending :3

  • This game is weird....

  • What dertermines weather you get the good ending or the bad ending? You got all the gems in the bad ending movie... sooo is it the score? I don't wanna get the bad ending!!!

  • If you complete level 7 normally, you get the bad ending no matter how many gems you have. You gotta get all the gems, everse under the gem counter at the beginning of level 7, and then proceed to level 8 (and beat it) in order to get the good ending.

  • they may be both evil but at least they are happy :)

  • Game is messed up.

  • the very happy music, sounds like something from an NES game, is that possible?

  • Cocoron to be precise.

  • I'm confused. There are only 7 levels in my version yet it reads 1.7.3

  • There are 8 levels in it. You need to collect all the gems and use an eversion point on level 7 to reach the 8th.

  • Look at my video for level 7 (2/2) to see how to get to level 8, this applies for both versions of the game.

  • Plot Twist!

  • This game is seriously Nintendo Hard.

  • I'm guessing a lot of people found out about this game from TV Tropes while for others it was from somewhere else or curiosity.

  • This is the old version level 8. The new one is less annoying and has the super mario feel as stated before. If only the eversion points were more apparent!

  • Me too! The music seems to be different on the happy part of each world as well, and some of the sound effects are different. I wonder why the Danish version is so different.

  • The ending was pretty cute.

  • way too many tropers here

  • wat

  • It was really good. It was also very frustrating...

  • The princess is a lie...

    Best good ending ever.

  • That made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :3

  • Different versions. Yours sounds like mine, but earlier versions were like the one shown in the walkthrough.

  • so wait, that is how it ends, mindfuck?

  • They bang and have lovecraftian babies.

  • Greatest ending. Ever.

  • I've had enough nightmare fuel, dammit!! I'm gonna go play something warm and friendly.... like Castlevania.

  • I guess even edritch abominations need to be loved.

  • It's like even when you win... you lose. Love Lovecraft stuff for that reason.

  • This game has been brought to you by "Nightmare Fuel," the choice drink of the Great Old Ones!

NIGHTMARE FUEL - "When you drink it, you will shit bricks."

(Copyright #@&% by Cthulhu Ltd., a subsidiary of ZalgoCorp)

  • @fearfactoryzero Warning: Do not drink under the age of 666. Side effects may include, but are not limited to: severe weight loss, loss of hair, failure of various organs, loss of sanity, and death.

  • . . .

    O_O

If THAT'S the "good" ending, then what's the bad one?

    ...*shudder*

  • The princess turns evil either way. o_0

  • What do you mean, she turns "evil"? You can tell her dispositions just by looking at her? Humans and their prejudices!

It's a total happy ending. All creatures have different versions of themselves through the verses, only the main character stays the same, for some bizarre reason (Maybe he has been cursed by that orb from the SNES Zelda). At long last, he has broken free of the curse and can change along with his beloved when the seasonal verse shifts occur, thus not freaking her out.

  • Basically, the flower doesn't transform, and the eye in the background has a serpentine pupil instead of a heart-shaped one. In other words, the good ending with its off-kilter humor and strange sense of heartwarming surgically removed and replaced with good old-fashioned nightmare fuel.

  • What is this, I dont even...

    *faves out of fear(?)*

  • I just found out...

    After you finish the game...

    The title screen CHANGES.

  • I found that out too.

  • This game is like Sonic CD mixed with Silent hill and Kirby's dreamland.

  • Well, if he couldn´t save her, at least he could join her.

    Also...

    "MOTHER"

    ...

Is that a reference to H.P. Lovecraft , or a reference to the Mother series?

That big red eye might be Giygas...

  • the game is based on a line out of Lovecraft's commonplace book, so it's probably a reference to him.

  • hahahahaha no.

  • @Yoritoshi Or- that's who you'll be asking for help if you play this game...

  • is eversion happening randomly?

  • yep

  • It's like Super Mario by way of Silent Hill.

  • That is just....there aren't any words

  • I can't work out how to get to level 8....?

  • Get all the crystals, then replay level 7.

  • I wish Kirby games would have the same evert mechanic!

  • Maybe eversion is what happens when you bump into Scarfy.

  • Or maybe some of the final bosses too. But IU think they should definitely use the eversion mechanic in one game.

  • The beautiful child of Nintendo and Lovecraft. :)

  • Also, that ending was amazing. I guess collecting all the gems finally broke his spirit and drained his sanity, but at least hes one with the darkness now! Something really freaks me out about that huge eye that flashes up though, even though in this ending the pupil is replaced by a heart.

  • It's like Legend of Zelda: Four Seasons, except with a stirred-in liberal dose of HELL.

  • You know what? When you realize what the crap's really going on... it's kinda heartwarming, sorta.

  • this is what happens when someone bases a game off of cthulu

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS GAME

  • I am scared beyond all reason.

  • game is tromatising

  • I show this game to my friend.

    - check this out

    - another crappy mario clone?

    - make it to the 4th level...

    - OH SHI-

    (much later)

    - WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY BRAIN I HATE YOU

    :D

  • oh tjord

  • nice work. when i beat it, i was a little disappointed in the ending. "I spent so many hours just for THIS??" This really isn't a game where you can have perfect run throughs, is it?

  • dohohoho u so troll

  • what are you talking about?

    Best ending EVER

  • Aw, that's a cute happy ending. Sort of. The teeth throws it off just a bit.

  • Although I already beat the game myself before really watching these (except when I was confused about a gem in Level 4), I am enjoying sitting back and watching you play through it. I really did enjoy this second, better ending. It was a very Lovecraftian way to end such a game, really.

  • ahaha, I didnt expect a walkthrough to be up here! Thanks dude and/or dudette, wouldn't have seen that crazy ending without your help.

  • WOW. What an ending.

  • *shudders* creepy! I love the warping universe.

  • And this is what happens when H.P. Lovecraft is quoted in a game

  • Rather, this is what happens when a game is created based off of an H.P. Lovecraft quote.

  • was not expecting that ending...

  • I, somehow, completed the 8th level with 234/240 jewels. Just got the rest though.

And that is an awesome ending.

  • Haha this is such a great ending.

  • WTF? freakist ending ever! never save anyone that you dont know the truth about!

if the enemies could talk they would sout:

''dont save her! shes the evilness herself!''

well...atleast he didnt die! ._. but whats the point of both the endings?

  • If the enemies could talk they'd probably say unfathomable truths of cosmic evil like "chocolate with nuts is the worst candy ever" and "lolcats were never funny." It would drive you mad to hear these things spoken.

  • I'd probably say those things too.

  • Well, in terms of story they never really mention who you are or who the princess really is...

  • I thought the princess would be normal, but you both get evil.

    BEST ENDING EVER

  • Hey I found an easier way to get through the level. a glitch happened when I was playing. If you jump where the wall of cloud is while they're not there, er, if you jump when they appear you'll be teleported to above the level and can walk across to the end

  • I know about this glitch, but figured that I should probably play the level 'properly' for the sake of the walkthrough. But thanks anyway!

  • hmmm, maybe the flower was evil, and the princess was too. the "enemies" were the original inhabitants of this world and were trying to stop you. and maybe the gems gave you power to leap in time or dimensions where the "enemies" had evolved to different forms!

or maybe this game is just completely random and stuff =D

  • To quote the readme file included with the game:

    princess is kidnapped

    you must save princess

  • maybe the readme file was a trick :O

  • A readme file lying would mean the end of the universe.

  • that Would explain the black hole behind me //_. *gets sucked in* AAAAHHHH!

  • Maybe the princess made the readme to get people to play the game and feed her!

  • I don't think "feeding" is what is going to happen.

    Eating probably is though.

  • I think he meant that the mental energy of those who play this mind-rapingly awesome game is transferred to the princess, to break her from her cross-branal prison.

  • Prinecss is kidnapped (so the citizens may protect their planet)

You must save princess (to start your reign of terror)

  • Actually, the two Dark Royals you see (an evil Elder Race) were to be wed. But a brane-storm caused these two to be separated across space, and had to become manifest in order to survive (they can't exist in Everses 0-8). You entered into a flower, whilst the Princess entered into a princess. To go home, they required 240 Shadows, hidden in gems. The Princess gained 240, but got trapped before she could escape. You have to gain 240 to enter Everse 8, and join with her to return home and marry.

  • Bro.

    Are you serious?

  • It's easy when you have imagination. *waves rainbow*

  • Maybe Lovecraft had something to do with the readme, too.

    FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE!

  • So the moral of this story is love conquers all? Or was the whole point just to get that flower thing some hot passionate love with the tentacle princess?

  • Hot passionate tentacle princess love = best ending ever.

  • And I won't deny that, but it's just a little confusing

  • I believe that this game can be summed up with a single acronym: wtf.

  • Heh, the ending really is better...

  • What is this game? Is it based off something?

  • Dude, I replied to your comment on the previous video (the one of level 7). Check what I wrote there.

  • So true, i kept dying at that part on level 6 cause i couldnt get downn the hole in time to complete the level before turning into a bloody mess. But hell, that ending made me laugh, it was awesome and completely random.

  • That...that is one freaky ending...

  • Ugh... I HATED this level. It wasn't so much that it was difficult, but the fact that the controls were quite awakward and you don't always fit down a hole makes for some some very annoying moments that needn't be there.

  • And if the level doesn't co-operate with you, you could be standing in one spot for a long time.

  • i just got the true ending and gigax, i was standing in the first spot for a LOOOONG time
