Whether Mr. Lee is an asshole or not he is one of the most talented men to ever step foot into Hollywood! The wayans and Spike Go back to the early 80s. There were not very many black producers, writers or directors so Keenan ivory Wayans, Spike Lee and Robert Townsend formulated a business relationship to push their films and get people to recognize black Cinema and they formulated a great and long lasting friendship.

Spike is a genius but a snob. I commend him for his accomplishments and he's opened the door for so many people. But I've met him on several occasions and his has such a snobby attitude, it really is a shame. Why is he so arrogant?? Spike Lee is arrogant because he went to an elite school for pampered African-American males (Morehouse). He carries on as if HE was a World War Two Vet. And by the way, I've read "Miracle at St. Anna." It is not a very good book, and is full of silly historical errors. Instead of constantly shooting off his mouth, he should clean up his own act.

I don't know sometimes I think people like Spike Lee use racism to their advantage just to get people to see their stuff so they can make some money. I'm not saying that all of it is bs, but I've noticed some of the things Spike Lee has called racist simply aren't. He also seems to enjoy placing black people in historical events they didn't participate in, but he has done some cool movies in the past.
