  • One of the best Orators I have observed and I observed MLK Adam Clayton Powell Kennedy etc.

  • @SuperKenster1 lmaooooooooooooooooo Fat head Oompa Loompa Salvicaca lmaoooooooooooooooooooo

  • a man who uses more words than he knows, to describe more than he knows.

  • in kenya if u touch the bulls then u'v to be ready to leave the chair

  • i'm shocked soma naggers r against him... if only u had half his oratory skills i'd b 4 u br 4 now, Hell No

  • It's ok to hate on a brother that he's imitating Martin Luther King, that proves that we are a country that has lost a sense of direction. Since when did it become foolish to emulate a great man, would you rather he imitated an idiot? Martin Luther King was himself influenced by the likes of Frederick Douglass. As long as PLO will be talking, you will be listening; he will be remembered, you'll probably not be remembered!

  • @TheMwakenya well said

  • He is eloquent but uses a diction that is not fully comprehended by the average of the masses which renders him ineffective in his attempt at communicating not unless he has an inflated ego of deriving respect from illiterate and insecure minds.

  • this is a great man!!!! i tell you the truth, like Obama.. if he were in a different counrty.. he would be a great leader!!! already put to the place where he belongs!

  • Only one little problem that i have with this man!.....;He is so unoriginal, ...up to his very name!, .....

  • platitudes...empty words. Pathetic.

  • Isn't he ashamed copying Martin Luther King. What an idiot

  • I am disgusted by the way this guy tries to imitate Martin Luther King!!!

  • @jomoto2002 at least he's better than some of the orators we've had in the past over in nigeria..no body's perfect but I must say that his heart is in the right place for at least trying to mimic MLK lol...he'll get better when he when he finds his own voice.lol

  • kenyans, here is treasure that we must recognize. We need put this guy in power because we know where his heart is n what he would like to eliminate .I follow his work in the kacc daily from far away from home.I'm a kikuyu, but i'll not complain about Moi n still continue to support politicians that r Moi like in their deeds once they get in office.Regional leaders r not states man they r opportunists who only wants an office to fulfill power hunger .STATESMANSHIP,

  • @nyege2 i dont get it, last night you were gagging on my cock and calling me daddy..now you're being like this?...behave...or il go back to your mother..she wants me back bad.

  • The Obama of Kenya!

  • I KNOW HIS DAUGHTER

  • this dude sounds more of a socialist to me.

  • Yes the Man can dance given a chance , and if we all play our roles .

  • What a sweet talker, He just talks too much i wonder if there action behind all that,He can make a good Kenya Representer but a President HELLLLLL NOOOO:

  • u didn't get the whole thing "terminator" u' the kind of p'pl ensurin' that 2morrow n'ver comes, winners never quit anyway, we wouldnt mind your going !

  • bla bla bla.....poor insignificant countries of the 3rd world like Kenya have one thing in common....all flashy talk,no show.

  • wow.this man should be president.PLO 2012

  • woooooooooooooooooo if that is true then we shall have definately a good kenya

  • If this guy was to vie to be the Kenyan President I would vote for him. However some in his tribe will definitely make sure he never runs!

  • Lumumba rocks! Like your gift of the garb.

  • Wow! Rock on brother!

  • Karuitha Karuitha Karuitha why do u ask questions that sound to me like u expect a mirror to be the individual it reflects? Did the man ever try to be something he is not? No! He perfected whatever talent God bestowed on him. And if you know the parable of the Talents, he just might be gifted with that one too of dancing.

  • Sounds like the equivalents of JFK, MLK, Clinton, and Obama eloquence wise. But does he effectively merit the comparison leave alone leadership? One may be charismatic in speech and style but that's just one thing.

The other is the character of leadership via action and reconciliation. The closest I can think of was probably the late Dr. Ouko. He had all the attributes named above and was a man of deeds. Unfortunately today, Kenya's political landscape is full of actors and dramatists.

  • Like him or hate him, the guy has indisputable gift of the garb!

  • this is the MAN kenya has been waiting for.PLO 4 PRESIDENT

  • What a joke. Everyone should only play their part. Kikuyu's are industrious, Kambas are loyal, Luhyas are energetic and Luos strive for perfection.

And this is what people call the future of Kenya.I am out of here. (sound of door slamming)

  • @OneTerminator but kalonzo wasnt loyal to julia ojiambo

  • @dirkxon My point is the ridiculousness of the ideas not their presentation. And his are as ridiculous as they come. I might be out of touch, but pigeonholing people on the basis of ethnicity smacks of ignorant bigotry to me.

  • What a joke. Everyone should only play their part. Kikuyu's are industrious, Kambas are loyal, Luhyas are energetic and Luos strive for perfection.

And this is what people call the future of Kenya.I am out of here. (sound of door slamming)

  • am kamba and a renagade.

  • I love you PLO,you are my role model

  • I hope he's as good in the anti corruption docket as he is in the vocals and oratorical skills.

  • Long time no see Bw. PLO..

  • i really need somebody to talk to , really bored today

  • I love PLO.

  • NTVKenya - please post more of PLOI's speeches. One day we will look back and wonder at the leader that dwelt amongst us.

  • He has a breathtaking speech it reminds me Martin Luther King. But I aslo feel like he has gone wrong way, people like him are good outside the government once in it, they don't critisize any more. He should consider writing books or strong critical articles in the newspapers.

  • Granted, but isn't it better to try and change from within than from without

  • @ Wachaushenzi I agree the change from within. But from this guy logic and rhetoric he's a philosopher something I want my son to read a nice masterpiece from a fellow Kenyan. Giving him that crime busting job is simply shuting him up. All the philosophers Euripidis,Plato,Socrates,Aristotle even MLK Jnr were writers in short stories poetry, ethics, gov critic or civil right advocate. That's why I think this guy is more of a revolutionaly.

  • I see your point

  • KACC is a useless tax payer money squandering institution without any powers to prosecute a mere cockroach. The Director is a stooge for the powers that be...his position has no authority to do anything. All the problems in Kenya emmanate from the executive, judiciary and the legislature.

  • PLO is a Martin Luther King Copycat per excellence. I don't think he will achieve anything at KACC. He is a talker NOT a doer

  • Dr. Plo you are talented, but dont let me give u a benefit of doubt when u happens to lead the body u are just about to. let us also see your actions and not only listen your promising words.

  • "VERBAL TERRORISM" is PLO LABEL..... KACC doesnt need rhetoric but action

  • am happy to here that the kenyan goverment have given that post of KACC to an well devoted person i was really following up the contributions which PLO was doing during the constituion and he has been in the front line for the change am sure Lord will inspire him to achieve the kenyas free from corruption Big up to lumumba

  • Lumumba is great, for those who say he should speak kiswahili, he speaks perfect kiswahili many of you would envy, he is also a big supporter of the idea that kiswahili should take the place of english as the language of education. I think he read and listened to a lot of martin luther king sermons, he sounds a lot like him.

  • if he can he address the voters in kiswahili, then he would make a breakthro to the voters.

  • for your information he speaks pure kiswahili.

  • If western countries politics could bypass kenya only for one year in 2012, i bet PLO Lumumba will be the kenya president, we are tired of people who cann't even pronounce their names.

  • "because we live in a world where we are told that we are the leaders of tomorrow and the politicians of the day have ensured that that tomorrow never comes." Amen brother.

  • yes excellent speeches to stir the sleepy population is quite welcome but can actions back up the sweet words. We should give him a chance if he runs for office

  • PLO's passion is admirable, but if I were him, indeed if he is honorable, he should decline this appointment. He is a farmer being sent to the farm without any implements. What can he possibly do when Wako still decides who is prosecuted and who isn't? Waste of time. Just enjoy the 12M per year and move one when we find some excuse to remove him.

  • I like PLO but as some have said... don't be fooled by oratory skills. What matters is execution. Let's see what he can do - I'm willing to give the guy a chance.

  • Whoever was responsible for the nomination of PLO Lumumba as Director of KACC did a shoddy job. They should have looked at the record of Lumumba during Arap Mois presidency and particularly his connections to Ezekiel Oyugi, Kulei, and the Somaias. A lot of ill gotten money was made during this period with Oyugi as the bagman and Lumumba as the personal advisor, cum family lawyer. This evidence is in the public domain Kenyans. Online!!! Did somebody care to Google it?

  • you coment what you think abuot this man but, what kenyans know is this , this guy is like tom mboya,am sure that he will deliver more than this fat fish rungera ok, read this on my lips,

  • Tom Mboya was my hero as was Dr. Robert Ouko. Perhaps PLO Lumumba can tell us something about Oukos death. He could have heard something from Ezekiel Oyugi. Check Rogue Ambassador page 168.

  • Please correct me if am wrong, but are you talking about Hezekiah(sp) Oyugi?

...and btw, I agree with you about this guy's activities during the Moi days. Someone should have looked beyond the rhetoric and done some due diligence, if only for a minute...

  • Yes, Larryboy. PLO Lumumba was the advisor and family lawyer of Hezekiah (Ezekiel) Oyugi, Mois honcho for security and administration. Hezekiah (Ezekiel) Oyugi was mentioned in the Troon Report as one of the suspects in the murder of Foreign Minister Dr. Robert Ouko. Lumumba stuck with Hezekiah (Ezekiel) Oyugi till Oyugis death and Lumumba was one of the main organizers of Hezekiah (Ezekiel) Oyugis funeral.

  • Thank you, Savai, for clarifying that, and for offering a point of view that cuts through the personality cultism that we Kenyans seem to fall for so easily, and which will haunt our democracy until the day we agree to properly vet and hold prospective office holders up to their past actions. I remember those dark Moi days, and it sucks to note that most of the lawyers and behind-the-scenes operatives of that day are current ministers, PS's and big office holders...

  • lumumba you are honourable and please dont stop talking cause in your speech you have power more than all the croooonies will ever have may you be great i hope you will be president

  • He needs a more serious post like the post C.E.O of kenya

  • Comment removed

  • the man can talk but can the man dance?

  • @karuitha yes he can even in bed!

  • @K: Good Question!

  • @karuitha Another bloody Obama!

  • @K now we have an answer..too much air no action

  • @siasabora he is a disappointment, period. Give him a reality show on TV cos he seems to love play acting for the cameras.

  • You best not be Mr. Good Speeches but does none!

  • na huyu PLO anachapa kinguzu, Now the poeple of kenyans are waiting for you. to do your part . and you will get our suport. thanks. and make sure that you fry this fat fish with uot uoga,ok

  • @jamanyoro Well he can if they give him a karai an mafuta

  • My sentiments exactly.
