The good thing about debian is that we can keep distributions around for a long time while still getting security upgrades. ( same thing with ubuntu LTS i suppose, but debian has everything we want on the server )

I have been working with electronic manufacturing at Ericsson. You check every board but not every single component. First a mchine check the board (photo of every board), then you manually check like 10 - 50% of the boards plus the "faulty" boards that the machine detects. Why 10 - 50%? Well, some boards are more difficult to manufacture and there are more faults on them.
