Even though Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood was the first Animals song I ever heard,this one and House of the Rising Sun easily surpass it.You know,I happen to be a sucker for classic rock in general but,with these three songs,The Animals put themselves in the upper ranks of old rock and roll bands,IMO.
