Seldom in my life have I seen a horse make up this much ground in the homestretch of a half-mile track - this may well have been the most impressive stretch kick in the history of Roosevelt Raceway. Joe O'Brien, Dream Of Glory, and Roosevelt Raceway: three of the all-time greats, no doubt! RIP Joe. In a perfect world, Barry Goldstein & Bill Hopkins would be in prison, breaking big rocks into smaller rocks....

Bill Megens is my grandpa :) I was surprised to find a video of my family's horse races...of course Snegem Flight was an amazing horse

The close wasn't that impressive, given how the leaders took turns killing each other for six turns.
When only one horse has energy left, it can fly late.
