I meet ginny in the 3rd grade she was my friends friend.. she always seemed to be in great spirits. I also went tot her same middle school and in the same magnet : Drama. I wish i could have gotten to know her better. my heart goes out to her family for around the same time my brother passed away.
Monroe County Sheriffs officials say a 16-year-old Miami girl died after taking a scuba diving class in the waters off Key Largo.Virginia "Ginny" McDougal taking a scuba class Saturday and dove about 26 feet. Witnesses told deputies that she surfaced from the dive but was having trouble. Authorities said the girl was unconscious when they pulled her onto a boat and began performing CPR.
McDougal was pronounced dead at Mariner's Hospital.
What a beautiful tribute! Her exuberance and zest for life shines through! May God be with her family and friends during this very difficult time. We now have a new angel looking over us.
I never knew Ginny, but I knew her friends Christie, Annie, and Flavia. Watching this video and reading all of the messages her friends left her has made me cry. It's so wonderful to see the overflowing amount of love for her, and she will really be missed. My heart goes out to all of you that lost a beautiful and radiant friend. R.I.P. Ginny.
I never really got to know Ginny but we were in a Christmas show together and I got to watch her in District with Ms. Marchant, but I was a year younger so I didn't get to know her. I'm soooo sorry, and if her family is reading this my deepest condolences.
wow i herd about her death bcuz im an incomign freshman and i feel so bad! shes very prety and she looks like a great person and i bet she was! i almost cried watching this vid and reading her story in the miami herald. wish i knew her!
Ginny was so much fun to be around with. She was in my youth group at St. Thomas. Today was the funeral for Ginny. There were like 1000 people there. Ginny will be missed dearly.
My prayers go out for Ginny's family and friends...Thank you for this tribute to her life...Rex Darrow, Lake Placid FL (Principal-South Miami Elem. 1988-2002)
i am in disbelief about ginny's death after i read it when i came home from work. the story of her life and death touched me..........and i can't talk much more than to say my prayers for ''ginny''. may family and friends be in mourning for ''ginny's'' soul.
Alexis...Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful memorial...My heart breaks for Ginny's family and friends...Your tribute illustrates what a special person we've all lost...Tim "Mr. Mc" McNamara-Earlysville, Va.
I caught this story in The Miami Herald and it really touched me...So unfair! Our prayers are with the friends and family! We've all lost what seems to be a beautiful soul...
