  • @294682 Why look at a punk rock vid if you can't take the hair?

  • This is the only song of Gen X on karaoke

  • A more than 30 year old (!) shit!...

    PUNX NOT DEAD

  • @Hollandia777

punk was porn in 1976 in england and continued into the mid-eighties and dead in late 80s ,90s and returned again in 2004 to the present time

  • @SecularOrnina1 1) Punk was born in da USA, in the 60's; 2)Then the British made it PUNK ROCK; 3) Then da USA took the leadership back (and have it until now). (Chek it out just with "Carbonas" or "Black Lips")

  • @SecularOrnina1 get a clue

  • @SecularOrnina1 It must be, of course, like "...Check it..." (in my previous posting) xDD

  • @SecularOrnina1 LoL.. punk was born in America, with such predecessors as MC5, The Nuggets and early Velvet Underground, and of course most notably The New York Dolls.Malcom McMClaren wanted the Sex Pistols to sound like NYD, but Pistols couldnt play as well as NYD, so the UK punk sound was born from that.Punk has been living underground alive and well ever since.

  • @MrBaldy73 How dare you not mention The Ramones!! ;)

  • @ellycat lol I never did like the Ramones

  • @MrBaldy73 yeah, I you gotta be dumb to like a band that gave 95% of the sound that the majority of rock music has today...NOT! If it werent for The Ramones music today would probably still sound like Journey and all those shitty bands.

  • @TheGuinnessboys lol not quite mate, there was 'yob rock' bands like Jook, early UK bands that paved way for the Brit Oi.Wernt all about Ramones and their influence

  • @Hollandia777 shit ? What should the real punks say ? lol

  • Haa LOVE what Billy's wearing!

  • is he talkin bout king kong record label?

  • kik ass song yo

  • same hairdo as Kim Wilde in the same period

  • 0:58 6,7.

  • Ripped off Bowie's look seven years after he was done with it. Heh.

  • Lip sync fail

  • he looks rediculous, but i love his song 'Eyes Withoute A Face! :D:D

  • I remember the next day after this was on TV, "did you see what Billy Idol was wearing on T.O.P.T. last night?lol". "He was wearing his mums clothes and jewellery". He made so many people laugh, and the Punk 'purists' screamed out "sell out, that's not punk wear" (missing the point again). Good memories, and a good tune, that's what made his apparel even more ludicrous looking, because the tune is so good.

  • he looks stupid... but hes good

  • he's so cute, was so funny but interpretation and voice is verry good! great billy idol

  • @rocknrollrocks777 In Idol's 'punk' days,it was Tony James. Here he sucked ,but did some clever things later on as "Sique Sique Sputnik ".

  • @PAULLONDEN yeah i read on a site like right after i posted that, sorry. :p

  • Rockabilly perfection, I love this song and the way he sings it. Another video by bowleg (with interview) is great too, it again shows he is a perfectionist and in such a natural way. Billy is freakin good and at that young age already had something meaningful / wise to say.

  • Whether people agree with me or not, there's something not right with previous post about my impression from the other video. I didn't mean "perfectionist" in an uncreative way, but how would I know what individual talent is about and labels are limited.

  • Wow - the resemblence to Kim Wilde is incredible!

  • u mean the kids in america vid?

  • Theres a video of Kim Wilde on Youtube from 1979 and Billy looks like her there - even the jacket looks like one he would wear.

  • thanx, but what is the title of the video?

  • AWESOME TUNE!

  • He Lks Sooo Cute At 0:44 x

  • HIS HAIR

  • Sounds more like a glam song than punk. Could have been something the sweet put out. Great song

  • To me, glam is a predecessor of punk. So are Sweet.

  • WHAT!!!!!! Iggy pop was doing punk in the lates sixties/early seventies......I believe he was the daddy of punk and dare anyone to prove otherwise, look at I wanna be your dog.

  • Yes, I know, but I think glam gave it a bit of shape, because to me IWBYD does sounds punk BUT with heavy roots in psychedelia (does it not remind you of the Interstellar Overdrive riff?).

  • He's got the same mouth and smile as Brad Pitt...........

  • I like the way Billy smile <3

  • @marypunkidol90 0:45 VERY cute!!
