    can you make a tutorial for real battle?

    like battle tactics, how to dodge a beam properly, how to use boost properly, how to use rainbow step, how to dodge a melee attack properly and when to attack (like after enemy attack us, after enemy land, etc)

    and maybe record some hard trial mission like battle many gundam with 1 life, battle 3 mobile armor, etc

  • This is very good! Easy to understand and you put in some effort in the editing instead of just using a single long gameplay video and slabbing it full of subtitles. Very much looking forward to part 2!

    Looking forward to part 2; I've a friend who's considering getting a PS3 for this game (Or at least he says so), so helping him get better at it would be a good motivator.

    Would be nice to have someone to play against online that isn't a yellow connection for once.

    It was not explained, it was the basics of the basics. For the 2nd part, I'll be covering: BD Jump, Step Cancel, Rainbow Step + variants, Brake Cancel, Quick Charge, Charge Shot Cancel and maybe some others but those are the main.

  • Hey,someone know if i pick 3 MS for my "favorite list" (That one that appears when you gonna choose your character) I can remove than later? I selected 3, but I want to take them out. I mean, clear the list and don't have any favorite MS. Sorry about my english, anyway.

  • What I do for guarding in NEXT Plus is that I configure to the Select button. Can you do that here as well? I'm kinda thinking that guarding is pretty hard here after seeing how you do so in this video.

  • Excellent video illustrates the basics with good precision, part 2 is something I'll be very much looking forward to. Also just curious since my copy's still on it's way, about EX bursting Can you cancel any animation ( example versagio's gerobi beam or the first hit of a neutral melee) into EX burst? U know, to help hit confirm extended combos or bait opponents to think you are vulnerable and retaliate for example.

    Well, the V2 was an example of chaining melee into an EX Burst attack. Honestly, there's only a handful that are worth chaining into a melee attack and it's still risky. Doing an EX Burst attack will consume all your boost in one go, all your ex gauge in one go and you cannot cancel out of the animation sequence unless someone hits you. Not to mention the initial startup of these don't come out exactly fast. They're a gamble that either succeeds or fails.

    I won't exactly be focusing on a single unit for Part 2. I just used SF for the first part as an example, mainly because of it's CS/MCSa. I apologize if I gave off the impression of doing a unit by unit analysis.

    Unicorn's Beam Magnum is manual reload. When it's empty, press (a) again and it will reload. The bz will auto-reload after using all the ammo.

    I got it. The reason I got this blunder was because of NEXT Plus's Unicorn... if you got me that's it.

    I see. Indeed NEXT/NP's Unicorn was bc for reloading the beam magnum. The only unit off the top of my head that has a dedicated reload button is X1 FC for it's Peacock Smasher.

  • @Snarfx0r Yeah. My colleague taught me about that unit, the X-1 Full Cloth.

    Now I want to experiment with Unicorn in EXVS since it has a large array of combos to make. And the unit looks good in green (EX mode of Destroy mode)... *laughs*

    Thanks. I may start working on a part II when the time permits. I''m pretty tied up until after New Years. Dunno if I'll cover Trial Mission mode. It's pretty straight forward minus earning certain emblems.

  • you missed an EX-Burst on Zeta....if you are in AltMode when using the Burst, Zeta will use the WaveRider Crash.

    Nice catch. I did have a clip of it ready to use but the ex gauge nor boost gauge didn't instanta drain when I used it so I figured it was an alternate attack during awaken like X1's CSa or Cherudim's CSb. But those are not listed as an EX Burst attack while Zeta's MA crash is considered one,abit low damage, 192 and it doesn't seem to drain EX gauge or kill boost. Anyways, good catch.
