Hawaii routinely issues Certifications of Live Birth for children that were born or adopted, outside of the Country. The only requirement is that the parents claim, that they were a living in Hawaii a year before the birth. When the birth is registered, a Certification of Live Birth is issued and a notice gets put in the newspaper, so neither the newspaper announcements nor the Certification of Live Birth is conclusive proof that the birth took place in Hawaii.

For me, once he posted it on an official website (gov not 'factcheck'), and he posted the form with the Doctor's sig and actual details, its settled. If its fake, at least he had to go through the effort of actually standing behind this one. If media people want to investigate its authenticity, thats their job, but I doubt any will....

@Mossasan It is not necessary for you to be born in Hawaii in order to get a certificate of live birth from hawaii. all that is necessary is to have a legal residence. You could literally be born in sweden and get a hawaiian colb if you have a residency there. look up Hawaii Revised Statute 338-178 to prove it to yourself. I hope that this helps you to understand that the international media is just as inadequate as the left wing media here in America.

Really, Obama could clear this up by requesting a photocopy of his BIRTH CERTIFICATE (NOT the COLB, shown here), as well as hospital records of his (alleged) birth in a Hawaii hospital. Box 7c of a 1960's-era Hawaiian birth registration form is the Usual Address of the Mother, which reasonably could be another state or country NOT the place of birth. The Location of Birth is in box 6a and has nothing in it about other state or country.

The whole idea of foreign birth registrations in Hawaii in the 1960s is as bogus as the label on box 7c being the location of birth.
