I just bought this intake and can't wait till it arrives! Very nice comparison between the stock and fujita videos. I debated getting the TBS but I guess i can easily add them later. Since the video has been posted in June of '08, have you encountered any check engine lights? I heard fujita doesn't throw any.
Negative. No CEL's on these babies. Pretty much the first thing I ever installed and it only took me about an hour. REALLY easy. If you do a TBS or anything else, I highly suggest you change out the OEM radiator piping to one that drops below the intake. You'll notice they rub pretty tight together if you don't. If you need help with that, hit me up. I saved the DIY for that install. Good luck with your Fujita. Vtec baby...Vtec.
It was my first installed piece. It didn't take more than an hour without having EVER worked on a car before. I would suggest, if you want to do any further components (TBS, Manifold gaskets) I would suggest getting a new radiator/coolant tube. The intake will rub if you don't, but the choice is yours. It's not time consuming and a great first project. Go VTEC.
Glad you liked it. I have since then added on a Throttle Body Spacer w/ Gasgets (TBS). My gas mileage is around 29-30 mpg. Not too bad. My plans are to get the NST Pullies to help out with gas mileage a little more and a bit more power. What you working on?
From Arizona. The weather being so hot makes very little difference to go with a CAI. SRI gives me better gas mileage since the air mixes a little warmer and that allows the fuel to burn more efficient. Small difference, but I like it. Thanks for the comment.
