sorry rick I was tutored on piano and then it went pear shaped but just like you it's within you sort of like a disease it never leaves you does it. Anyway I won't bore you anymore but music has saved my life more than once.Julia Fischer Four Seasons. Regards John.
Thanx for the generous comment. If it's been a long time since you've played keys, I recommend you take it up again. I started playing again in 2004 after a 20 year hiatus and I'm having a blast! I wish I'd cranked it back up earlier!
Good way for finding sheet music is to download a MIDI reader like Noteworthy Player and load your desired MIDI file into that. It's a tip I picked up from my piano tutor and has helped me learn a lot of new tunes.
Yea, that is great advice. Then google whatever band or composer you're interested in plus the word "midi" and download the free midi file from the web. For example: ELP midi.
Hi I love your version. I'm uploading me playing it on bass as we speak. Shame you're from a different country from me. I'd love to get together and play it. Would sound nice.
Thanks. No, I don't know the Sheriff yet, but I'm working on some other stuff. Well, that's not exactly true. Right now the only thing I'm working on is these wildfires in the Great Basin. And I could not find a piano anywhere in Burley, ID. It's shapin' up to be a busy fire season!
nice rendition...one of the toughest elp songs to play on the piano

@teedlebomb: Thanx man. Nice of you to say only one clunker. I know I had more than that! :-)
Cheers!

Sorry, I haven't taped any tutorials. I'd recommend just taking a look at the sheet music. You could probably learn to play it that way.
