  • nice rendition...one of the toughest elp songs to play on the piano

  • @brandtus Thanks

  • Nice !!

  • @stigb56 Thanks man. You have some pretty cool ELP vids posted on your channel. Thanks for those.

  • great stuff, top notch

  • @rickydicky100 Thank you.

  • Great! Only one noticeable clunker in a very complex tune. Excellent!

  • @teedlebomb: Thanx man. Nice of you to say only one clunker. I know I had more than that! :-)

    Cheers!

  • Did you get the music or did you play by ear?

  • I got the sheet music and used my ears too.

  • @rickfreslanta Is there any way to obtain them online?

  • Very nice !!!

  • You missed a few notes, but you know that. It was thoroughly enjoyable anyway. :)

  • I love that song and you really play well!

  • Obrigado amigo!

  • Thanks Rick, great job.

  • Thanks guys!

  • YAZZZZZZZ.

    good on ya!

  • I love it, love it, love it!

The song of ELP and your version both!

And a million thanks for doing me a favor and helping me out!

    Kristi

  • Cool ! I am a beginner, can you show a tutorial of this song ? It can be a good idea for all. thank oyu

  • Sorry, I haven't taped any tutorials. I'd recommend just taking a look at the sheet music. You could probably learn to play it that way.

  • sorry rick I was tutored on piano and then it went pear shaped but just like you it's within you sort of like a disease it never leaves you does it. Anyway I won't bore you anymore but music has saved my life more than once.Julia Fischer Four Seasons. Regards John.

  • Yes, I understand now. Julia Fisher is an awesome musician. Y ella es muy hermosa! I should have never broken up with her. :-)

  • Nice one man - 's along time since i played keyboards but that was pretty red hot!

  • Thanx for the generous comment. If it's been a long time since you've played keys, I recommend you take it up again. I started playing again in 2004 after a 20 year hiatus and I'm having a blast! I wish I'd cranked it back up earlier!

    Go for it!

  • nice groove...

    ELP rules !

  • Fucking awesome.

  • Do you have sheet music for this?

  • Good way for finding sheet music is to download a MIDI reader like Noteworthy Player and load your desired MIDI file into that. It's a tip I picked up from my piano tutor and has helped me learn a lot of new tunes.

  • Yea, that is great advice. Then google whatever band or composer you're interested in plus the word "midi" and download the free midi file from the web. For example: ELP midi.

Lot's of great stuff out there.

  • Hi I love your version. I'm uploading me playing it on bass as we speak. Shame you're from a different country from me. I'd love to get together and play it. Would sound nice.

  • thats what i do whenever i learn a song.

  • AWESOME dude ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

you are so great there ¡¡

    five , of course

  • hello, my name is Elise, i'm belgian, and i would play this piece in piano, but i don't find the partition, can you give it to me please?

  • very nice, bravo!

  • Very Nice...pardon, very ELP!

  • That's funny! I get it.

  • very nice!

  • nice job. the whole tarkus album is great.

  • Thanks, that was great!

  • Thanks. No, I don't know the Sheriff yet, but I'm working on some other stuff. Well, that's not exactly true. Right now the only thing I'm working on is these wildfires in the Great Basin. And I could not find a piano anywhere in Burley, ID. It's shapin' up to be a busy fire season!

  • That was great-Very nice!

  • Awesome. Do you know how to play the Sheriff?
