  • what wood did you use to make the prod?

  • Looks like it's pretty weak power.

  • ANCIENT SHOTGUN

  • r u danish???

  • That's an impressively effective design. More comfortable to use than a lever-operated one, no doubt.

  • it's basically a weaker rifle. with reusable shells.

  • Fear the larper

  • that group from 1:08 to 1:11 was actually pretty sweet. With some practice, you could consistently plug small game with this. I dig it.

  • Just go back maybe 1000+ years and ud be rich.

  • after what i can hear it's either in Denmark or sweden and if se illegal ;D

  • @Takashi0ukana Denmark

  • he looks like Iniesta xD

  • Stop talking about this crossbow is suck, this guy puts a lot of effort to make it.

and like in the video said "for role play"

At least the crossbow can shoot duh

  • or you could buy a gun

  • @saleen369 too mainstream

  • @saleen369

or you could buy an Rpg

  • @saleen369 Not as silent.

  • @saleen369 or you could be Chuck Norris who we all needs no weapon... XD

  • @saleen369 thats not as awesome

  • @saleen369 Guns are noisy and is sometimes harder to get a license and ammunition. And some people just like crossbows.

  • a pistol grip on the cocking mechanism would allow for you to cock a higher poundage string

that is very cool, so the origional plans were no good

  • @manictiger excuse me, sir. But he was making this for larp:ing, and there is a 30 pund limit so you wont accidenally shoot someones brains out... Read the description before commenting.

  • This mechanism sucks. What he needs to do is get a compound pulley to pull back a high tension spring steel drawstring.

3 pumps = 3 times the power. Make a longer slide-bolt instead of a crappy pump-action (we're not ejecting shells here) and it'll be closer to 5 times stronger.

Use notches to keep it in place for each slide and make the moving parts out of metal and the frame out of high strength, low-weight polymer.

The result will be heavier, longer, slower firing, but WAY more powerful!

  • nice

  • oh, nvm

  • how many pounds is that each shot?

  • I will blow you into mist with my .40 before you even try anything with that stupid ass lump of shit.

  • @dodgerlives But u ever heard of something people call brain?

  • @EdmansTube2008 i does heerd of things peeple call brain. Yoo are guud talker.

  • @dodgerlives that was uncalled for, different weapons have different apps. I could blow you away with an RPG and your .40 wouldn't help at all, again different apps. for different weapons.

  • @Nwest82 But I actually HAVE a .40.....

  • @dodgerlives so what... I actually have a, .25cal PPK, brit .303, 12 gauge shotgun, a 50 cal front-loader, the list goes on. Your correct I don't have an RPG, but my point was, (if you can grasp this concept), there are different weapons for different applications. You just think your balls grew a bit bigger because daddy help you get a .40cal.

  • @Nwest82 Calm down kid.

  • @dodgerlives I am calm, I'm just pointing out the obvious, and I'm 30 years old, not that old but not certainly not a Kid, especially if I'm comparing ages with you. Ok, I said/pointed out what I wanted to, respond if you want but I see no need to keep commenting back at this point.

  • @Nwest82 THIS IS A RESPONSE TO YOUR COMMENT.

  • coolt. den där modellen såg ju smartare ut en den traditionella kinesiska.

  • I've thought about making one of these, but with a box magazine, smaller bolts, a left hand pistol grip and a high-powered mechanism that uses a forward moving (right hand) slide bolt that works best when slided multiple times. Not sure if it's legal though. It's only an idea I had.

  • @manictiger if cross-bows are legal in your area, then I would imaging that any mods done to a crossbow would be legal also.

  • @Nwest82

I don't know about that. That's like saying, "automatic rifles are legal because rifles are legal". I think I'd rather consult a legal expert before assuming the best out of the legal system. This state in particular gets stupid around anything that isn't a butter knife.

  • Pretty cool!

  • dumb

  • This guy will definitely survive a zombie attack.

  • powerful? that thing wouldnt even penetrate skin... u fail

  • how much would it take to make 2 for my 0_o

  • Kræver den ikke våbentilladelse, den der? :P

  • I'm impressed. Now you just need to make one with more power :P

  • thats cool as hell

  • well that looks safe

  • Modern Skyrim....

  • Dude I wanna LARP with this guy

  • who cares about how strong or weak it is the concept of this weapon is amazing and instead of complaining about the strength of the weapon why not try to make a stronger version of it and see if you can do better

  • The designs cool. If it was effecive, this would be pretty mad. like try making it using light weight composite steel material so it can stand up to bigger force :D

  • @OfficialMINIm Because he has access to a machine shop.

  • ITS LIKE A FRIGGEN MEDIEVAL TIME SHOTGUN D:

  • they should put this in black ops and you unlock it at like the sixth prestige or something

  • and it's incredibly easy to cock the crossbow.

  • hehe your dog is gay,... "Don't be gay Sparkie"

  • if your target is the loin, aim in the head...LOL...

  • very cool

  • what kind of role playing are you into?

  • I made one with a pen and a rubber band

  • aim for the ear and get a headshot!

  • Try this with a 175lb Crossbow... would only work with poison-bolts...

  • Lol, okay, that was pretty damned cool. I like the design.

  • fuckin faggot larpers

  • finally i found a weapon to kill my friend :D

  • Dear Santa..

  • Awesome!

  • errr can you give me a tutorial to make that thing?

  • thats kinda cool :p

  • i wish i had a hommade crossbow but i only have a home made one :(

  • Its still great made, and you remind me of Forrest Gump :>

  • Very cool! but maybe if you make smaller darts/arrows and make the bow bigger it would go very fast and accurate!

  • HE said homemade for fuck sake and if you want you can take its design and just add better material to it and it will be much stronger

  • Might not be able to kill but you can really hurt some bad guys with that.

  • 'Made for roleplay.' Any 'weapon' made for roleplay is wonderful for 'pretend land.' "I JUST DID 1D8 PRETEND DAMAGE TO YOUR FACE!!" ....give me a break...

  • Noice

  • vampires beware

  • buena creacion exelente estoy interesado por tu prollecto cuanto quieres por el...

  • thats pretty cool, just watched the vid on the chinese repeater. i looked like it held more amo but it definately didnt have much in the ways of accuracy like this one does.

  • try lighter and smaller ammo.

  • very nicely done sir. well designed for its purpose and obviously effective.

  • Danish design ;) <3

  • make a semi-auto, c02 gas return. string strikes valve at the end of the power stroke, re-cocking and have the bolts droping down in a gravity fead manner hmmmm, think i will go build one. nice job on yours.

  • Cool! Well done. ;)

  • shit i want one to shoot my wall

  • nice for home made. still id prefer phil taylor as a mate

  • i thought this is Juan Manuel Marquez!

  • wow nice :D

  • you can tell it's not very powerful by the way he has to aim a little upwards to even hit the target at that short of range i mean for live role playing with starfoam tips or something it'd be fine but to be effective hunting or protection it wouldn't be the first thing i grabbed for

  • As you describe it is made for Roleplaying

and therefore 30 pound which is maximum in Denmark

    Lars

  • @larsandersen23 technically, this is still illegal in denmark as it is a bow with a cocking mechanism (forspænding) and would still require a weapon permit sinth 30 pounds is more than enough to lethally harm a human.

  • @Fiddepik Does that include home-made items?

Because I know in the states, any home-made weapons are very legal. But hell, even flamethrowers are legal here, and if you live in the correct state, you can get your hands on some pretty lethal guns with a normal weapons permit.

  • @LouisAndPillz I am speaking about denmark, as i could see the author of the video were from denmark. crossbows are legal in the state, but they are illegal in denmark unless you have a special weapons permit.

  • @larsandersen23 den er satme godt lavet!:)

  • @larsandersen23 30 pound recurves shoot faster and further than this.

  • @larsandersen23 hold nu kæft du ser grim ud lars

  • @frostiethewicked hell that could kill something.. humans are soft.

  • @frostiethewicked DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • @frostiethewicked it may not be all that powerful but im still not volunteering to stand in front of it lmao its like a .22lr not the biggest not the best but i still wouldent wanna get shot by it

  • @guitarzan1283 a 22lr is actually a very deadly round with extreme velocity, no you wouldn't want to stand in front of a .22cal, I'd rather be hit with a .25cal

  • @Nwest82 id rather not get shot at all personally regardless of caliber i have a .22 cal pellet gun that i wouldent wanna get shot by im not sure how familiar you are with firearms but i know im very familiar i shoot every weekend not to mention reload my own ammunition and even do some gunsmith work the velocity of a .22lr is not what i would consider an extreme velocity at approx 1200 to 1350 fps but it is most definitely lethal as is a .25 cal at about 900 fps with the good ammo

  • @guitarzan1283 maybe, extreme was too "extreme" of a word to use for 1300fps max. Yes I agree with you I would not want to be shot by any bullet weather air powered or otherwise. I'm actually very familiar with firearms, I do all the same stuff you do, hand-load ammunition, do gunsmith work also, and target shoot daily. You seem like a cool guy, thanks for not being an ass when making your point, because of the way you went about it, you made your point well, and I agree.

  • @Nwest82 i try my best to not be an ass when its clear that the person responding to me isnt an ass i get into a lot of arguments with people who know "everything" there is to know about guns lol i always try to be clear on my explanations and provide as many facts as possible to back up my theorys and i appreciate you being clearly more than intelligent enough to see that i wasnt trying to be an ass only trying to get my point across you tube needs more people like us lol

  • Really Nice but the arrows seem a little slow, measured from the time of the trigger pull to the time that they hit the target.

  • That's awesome! Do you have a tutorial for that? Or how you did is...kinda of a secret? =p

  • please teach me how to make 1

  • Novelty.

  • id wrather have 1 deadly one than 6 that poke you,.

  • Wow... it fails at penetrating cardbord... not threatening at all.

  • More power and it'd be a fierce defensive tool for the house

  • Very cool, except for the "Look how cool I am" pose in the very beginning.

  • ingineous ... can you have more tension?

  • called semi-automatic or bolt action crossbow

  • have guys have to watch this vid "Archery Rapid Fire Hun Archery Kassai "

  • wow that crossbow is perfect ! try to make the explosive crossbow from Call of duty Black ops then it will be much better xD

  • @TheAmonamarth17 cod nerd

  • @SarcasmSkateTeam oh shut up man you are really not cool there are many people who play that game so please you can't say you dont like cod -.-'

  • @TheAmonamarth17 i ddidnt say i didnt like cod but i cant stand it when i watch videos on the net and some fool either thinks he knows what hes talikn about because hes played an fps game or just compares everyting with cod weapons

  • great weapon 4 vampires n zombies

  • If you can "reload" it that easily, isn't the power at which it fires quite weak? At how long range is it effective?

  • @CHRLPTRSN How much of a fucking moron are you? The description says clearly it's for live action ole play (LARPing) NOT hunting or self defense.

Do you go to airsoft videos comment how weak they are vs humans or game?

  • Good Job bro.

  • That was fucking amazing

  • Fuckin' hell...

  • are the fletchings duct tape?

  • its useful now. but you should have made it based on the design of an arrow rather than making your own not that its not effective, but just so you can buy ammo rather than produce them

  • That would have been useful like 1,000 yrs ago ._.

  • @MegaRandomLOLguy chineese already made one i think

  • now thats wiked

  • Actually impressive

  • I for one am a skeptic. There's no evidence WHATSOEVER that bows exist. It was debunked. These people are scam artists. You all need to learn physics.

  • @katsumorymoto I... own a bow. Are you some attempt of a troll? A bow is a spring. If you change a spring's original position, it returns to its original form. The storage of energy, provided by your arm, propels the arrow, or bolt. Learn some physics.

  • @katsumorymoto what?...

  • impressive accuracy!

  • look how hardcore he thinks he looks hahaha

  • @herosavage lol

  • What could you hunt with that? A large hamster maybe?

  • @HeroSavage well if it is powerful enough it could kill a deer if it hits the neck, head, or chest...

  • Just think how history could have been changed with something like this if through the use of pulleys and gears you upped the poundage on the draw and still were able to do this. Think 120 lb or more draw with near rapid fire.

  • @MorteWulfe the chinese did have a repeating crossbow

  • @Fooludontknowme I know, but with crap ass poundage on the thing. It wasn't enough to puncture good armor.

  • @Fooludontknowme yeah but instead of knife and fork they came up with two sticks so its abit up and down with them lot eh.

  • What sort of role play 0_o

  • AWSOME. You could make some money of that

  • COME ON JOHNNY!

  • thats the smallest bow in the world

  • @SangumaKROW no its not Havent u ever seen a lego bow?

  • crossbow of the century

  • Very nice.

  • BADASS!!!! LOVE the shot-gun cocking actiong!!! F*@#ing brilliant!!!

  • That was awesome, great job man!

  • Looks nice but i'm afraid it shoots to hard to have in LARP

  • looks pretty bad-ass.... Now if only it functioned as well as it looks loaded

  • Your crossbow is actually cool. I'm impressed that you were able to build that yourself. I didn't think that would work outside of a Hollywood movie.

Your friend is a better man than me, because there is no way I would have agree to throwing targets in the air that close to the arrows. LOL. I would have been to worried I would have been a victim of friendly fire.

This is something I wish I had tried back when I was a kid.

  • nice

  • danmark!!!

  • it looks more like its pump action and not repeater XD still very nice thought

  • Comment removed

  • Medieval shotgun.

  • @CrazyyBodyguard that...is nothing like a shotgun....

a medeival shotgun would be like a bunch of firearms tied onto arrows, put in a tube, and lit all at once.

  • I will pay u to make me one

  • Its got that mid evil charm to it. Nice work :-)

  • is the pump neccesery? sorry really tired cant be bothed to spell check.
