I'm a member of VWIL (Virginia Womens Institute for Leadership) right now. VWIL has been such a positive experience for me. I have all my NRTC classes at VMI, but the VWIL training hepls me succeed in leadership. Being in the only all-female Coprs has taught me to dream big and achieve more than I would have going to a non-ROTC school.
When I commission, I hope to do what the men and women do daily and repay some of the sacrifices they have made for us.
I'm not Army, so thats irrelevant to me. I've known people from all branches that have natural leadership, and some Marines that have none. Don't diss people who make themselves better by being in the military or that go through ROTC to become officers. Are you a Marine? If so, why would you put down someone who does what you do and defends the US? If not, why do you put them down for something you don't even do yourself?

I protected the Pentagon on 9/11 from futher attack. Take my advice and go to college. The Marines will always be their. Think thats stupid? Wait untill you start boot camp. I'm a member of VWIL (Virginia Womens Institute for Leadership) right now. VWIL has been such a positive experience for me. I have all my NRTC classes at VMI, but the VWIL training hepls me succeed in leadership. Being in the only all-female Coprs has taught me to dream big and achieve more than I would have going to a non-ROTC school.
When I commission, I hope to do what the men and women do daily and repay some of the sacrifices they have made for us.

I'm not Army, so thats irrelevant to me. I've known people from all branches that have natural leadership, and some Marines that have none. Don't diss people who make themselves better by being in the military or that go through ROTC to become officers. Are you a Marine? If so, why would you put down someone who does what you do and defends the US? If not, why do you put them down for something you don't even do yourself?
