Katie escaped, somehow, and she shot Quinn because she had Clay, and Clay for rejecting her and loving Quinn. basically, she's crazy and I am VERY ANGRY AT HER!!!!

And also I read in a magazine an article about season 8 and robert buckley said that Clay would only have a chest wound but they still don't know what's gonna happen with Quinn. One Tree Hill loves a good "are they dead/are they alive" finale cliffhanger. They've done one in almost every season. Season 1- Dan's heart attack. Season 2- Dan in the car dealer fire. Season 3- Nathan, Cooper, and Rachel in the lake. Season 5- Dan getting hit by a car seconds before his alarm goes off signifying his getting a new heart. Clay and Quinn's lives are just the newest victims on the long list of those One Tree Hill writers have wanted viewers to worry about over the summer.
