Im loving all of these volumes so far, but is there going to be a downloadable subtitled version any time? I'd love to add it to my fan fiction collection, and to Vol. 1 :) Can't wait for Vol 2! I want to know what happens to Hope!

x Nostradamus...Secondo me Hope è la controparte di Sorran....quando Sorran ha aperto il sigillo di Eron è entrato a far parte della Forza Vivente che come sappiamo è formata dal Lato Oscuro e dal Lato Chiaro.....lui ha evidentemente scelto il Lato Oscuro e La Forza Vivente ha di conseguenza generato e fatto nascere Hope dal Lato Chiaro....lo si può capire dalla visione del Vol. 1 quando verso la fine Sorran ed Hope si interscambiano nella stessa persona che sta per uccidere il Maestro ZuyMar...
In effetti è impressionante! A pensare che allo scorso festival di Venezia hanno inaugurato con quella megamerdata in 3d di film italiano, che a parer mio ha solo spalato altra merda su quella montagna che c'è già sull'immagine degli italiani... Avessero presentato questo magnifico lavoro di Licata e Co. avremmo fatto altra figura ( oltre al fatto che mi riempie di orgoglio sapere che c'è qualcuno in Italia che fa' cinema di questa qualità )
Realizzazione da paura ragazzi. Pensavo di vedere il solito filmettino amatoriale che si guarda come lo si fa con le partite al campetto sapendo che non sta giocando il Milan. Complimenti davvero, il futuro potrebbe essere migliore di quello che sembra.

Some complains that DR doesent have the feelings of Star wars, this is true, but nobody say it has to. Interesting the Erolian technology, reminds Aliens and Prometheus and Assasin Creed. But the story of the fall of a valiant Jedi cant be anything else than depressing.

Dal punto di vista della grafica è fenomenale,può competere con i film del grande schermo!!! Anche l'atmosfera e i personaggi non sono male,su questo non si discute! L'unica cosa un po criticabile è la trama:troppo simile a quella del primo film di alien(la nave abbandonata,l'equipaggio in percolo ecc). Tuttavia davvero niente male secondo me :). Voto da 1 a 10?Direi 8 pieno

Bellissimo. Dato però il ritmo lento della narrazione ci sarebbe stato bisogno di qualche momento umoristico in più per alleggerire (oltre alla scena della spada laser difettosa). La frequente apparizione dei due droidi nella saga di Lucas serviva proprio a questo.
un consiglio/richiesta: mettete anche qualche bionda/o tra il cast principale? così i nordici e gli americani rompibolle la smettono di dire razzistate e si stanno zitti e apprezzano di più il film. in fondo una scelta di questo genere aumenterebbe anche i fan secondo me, soprattutto i più bigotti che non si identificano con gli ispanici. asd
anche la traduzione in altre lingue tipo lo spagnolo (che in realtà mi pare di aver visto da qualche parte) e il tedesco contribuirebbero.

Dovremmo renderci conto prima o poi di quello che possiamo fare qui in Italia nel cinema, se solo qualche produttore finanziasse progetti come questo. Altro che Moccia, dannazione. Hey this was pretty good. Much better than the first one...better CGI and story. Found the whole screaming of "No" a bit overdramatic when some people were killed. Can't seem to understand what happened to the character named Hope from vol. 1. At any rate well done on this installment.

I wasn't that big of a fan of the original Dark Ressurection - it had nice effects, but the story was somewhat confusing, the cinematography wasn't at all to my liking. This, however, was truly amazing. I actually forgot I was watching a fan film. It really felt like Star Wars. Fantastic job, I absolutely loved it! Looking forward to Volume 2.
@DarthTemocChannel You should hear the "Nooo" of Constantino Romero, the Spanish (of Spain, not the rubbish voice of Latin-american) voice of Darth Vader in the classic trilogy.
A few cringe worthy fight scenes, pleasant visuals, somewhat forgettable characters, story-line is pretty decent but a bit on the boring side. As others said very Ridley Scott.
For a fan film, fantastic...as for being "better than the prequel series" that's a matter of opinion.
This has to be the best fan film (Star Wars or otherwise) that I've ever seen. The effects and music are simply amazing. The story was very well done as well. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more. Excellent work here. Grazie tanto!
I honestly liked this, but it didn't feel like Star Wars at all. They could have changed the lightsabers to swords, called the Force "magic" and it would have made no difference. Also, Star Wars is better when there isn't scientific explanations for everything. But I enjoyed this, nonetheless.
@Spidersham51 well, i the green screen stuff, software licenses, camera... and room & food for the crew :) ... none of the crew nor the actors was paid, they were all volunteers of course.
@mrnometa Also any other language but english would make the production less realistic, as it is english speaking countries today that achieve technologically in the cutting edge of space exploration. Subconciously it wouldnt sit as realistic to the sychie of the masses. Spanish/Italians did not land on the moon. It is the Americans that did.

I've been waiting for this prequel for a looong time and I'm more than glad it's here.
This movie was awesome, I agree to an extent that It didn't capture the Star Wars aesthetic. But if they did, they be getting sued by Lucas. Bravo my Italian friends bravo!
In time the narrow path will open up and more film like this will be produces,they need our support to make it happen.However,it will be nice to have subtitle in English and Spanish.This film made my day !!!
@humberlick You know... they're are Italian guys. There's absolutely no space for sci-fi productions in Italy. It's sad. I think they hope that with a fanfilm somebody notices them in the States or somewhere else.
@TheMaxportman Sure, but actually if you think that DR0 was made with € 27.000, you could see that with a good script and without so many VFX, also a SF movie can be made with like... 5-10 M€. Take District 9, that was absolutely epic and was made with a ridicolous budget for an international production. Or italian sf film Nirvana (1997) by gabriele Salvatores that costed € 6M...
I have to say, credits to the makers of this movie. The effects are very good, and I am sure a lot of people worked very hard for this. It is allways awe inspiring to see how much effort people are willing to put into fan work, to express their love of something, like StarWars. :-)
That said, I miss the feel of StarWars in this movie, despite the lightsabres. It felt more like some "random" SciFi than like StarWars. Cant really say why, though, maybe its just me.
This film has great Special Effects but this it is nothing like STAR WARS the only thing that looks like STAR WARS is the lightsabers because the ships, clothing and music (I know that you can't use the original music) is nothing Like STAR WARS this movie looks like a generic movie from the 90s this is offense for the STAR WARS UNIVERSE.
@MarckGalvan, so you're saying padme dressed as a geisha in episode one looked like star wars? why can't you just assume this is taking place in another part of the universe? The only offense to Star Wars is the prequels.
WOW! Fantastic. I liked this more than the prequels. It has a great Old Republic / medieval feel to it. As for the subtitles. I don't understand how anybody can have a problem with subs other than poor translation. I much prefer a movie with the original voice acting than crappy dubbing. Plus I know how to read, which is a big plus. My only real gripe is that some of the camera angles were a bit off. I'm guessing this was more a budget constraint than creative. Looking forward to more.
Best Star Wars fan film I've seen. Although, this didn't feel like Star Wars at all. It was more fantasy-like with space and lightsabers. You guys should make a Dungeons and Dragons movie.

I wasn't that big of a fan of the original Dark Ressurection - it had nice effects, but the story was somewhat confusing, the cinematography wasn't at all to my liking. This, however, was truly amazing. I actually forgot I was watching a fan film. It really felt like Star Wars. Fantastic job, I absolutely loved it! Looking forward to Volume 2.

A few cringe worthy fight scenes, pleasant visuals, somewhat forgettable characters, story-line is pretty decent but a bit on the boring side. As others said very Ridley Scott.
For a fan film, fantastic...as for being "better than the prequel series" that's a matter of opinion.

This has to be the best fan film (Star Wars or otherwise) that I've ever seen. The effects and music are simply amazing. The story was very well done as well. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more. Excellent work here. Grazie tanto!

I honestly liked this, but it didn't feel like Star Wars at all. They could have changed the lightsabers to swords, called the Force "magic" and it would have made no difference. Also, Star Wars is better when there isn't scientific explanations for everything. But I enjoyed this, nonetheless.

@mrnometa Also any other language but english would make the production less realistic, as it is english speaking countries today that achieve technologically in the cutting edge of space exploration. Subconciously it wouldnt sit as realistic to the sychie of the masses. Spanish/Italians did not land on the moon. It is the Americans that did.

Please!!! DON'T dub this. I absolutely hate bad dubbings. My native language is English, but I still would rather watch the original with subs than listen to some crap dubbers. English might be the language of Hollywood, but this isn't Hollywood. ;-)

@humberlick You know... they're are Italian guys. There's absolutely no space for sci-fi productions in Italy. It's sad. I think they hope that with a fanfilm somebody notices them in the States or somewhere else.

The cost of 1 italian movie is 3-6 M€, think about the cost of 1 american SF movie > 100 M€.
The last SF movies made in italy were Z movies during the 80es.

@TheMaxportman Sure, but actually if you think that DR0 was made with € 27.000, you could see that with a good script and without so many VFX, also a SF movie can be made with like... 5-10 M€. Take District 9, that was absolutely epic and was made with a ridicolous budget for an international production. Or italian sf film Nirvana (1997) by gabriele Salvatores that costed € 6M...

I have to say, credits to the makers of this movie. The effects are very good, and I am sure a lot of people worked very hard for this. It is allways awe inspiring to see how much effort people are willing to put into fan work, to express their love of something, like StarWars. :-)
That said, I miss the feel of StarWars in this movie, despite the lightsabres. It felt more like some "random" SciFi than like StarWars. Cant really say why, though, maybe its just me.

This film has great Special Effects but this it is nothing like STAR WARS the only thing that looks like STAR WARS is the lightsabers because the ships, clothing and music (I know that you can't use the original music) is nothing Like STAR WARS this movie looks like a generic movie from the 90s this is offense for the STAR WARS UNIVERSE.

WOW! Fantastic. I liked this more than the prequels. It has a great Old Republic / medieval feel to it. As for the subtitles. I don't understand how anybody can have a problem with subs other than poor translation. I much prefer a movie with the original voice acting than crappy dubbing. Plus I know how to read, which is a big plus. My only real gripe is that some of the camera angles were a bit off. I'm guessing this was more a budget constraint than creative. Looking forward to more.
