Meaning he can pull max climb to high altitude without having air restrictions. This is common where there might not be any higher flying air traffic in that area. Terminology may be slightly different from area to area. When I got my incentive flight in a F-15, we called the toward and asked for "quick climb" to 18K feet. It was balls to the wall man.

@lclaughton air show? an unrestrictive climb is a military maneuver thats done all the time. Looking at this video its not even clear if its an air show or not. That B52 was a sad story. That pilot was a good man and an excellent pilot. If you didnt know the B52 is a very unstable aircraft when you bank it more than 30 degrees. In that situation that pilot could not do anything to recover it...
