Leg locks are not for people with no technique. Many BJJ guys can't defend leg locks at all. It's a rumor bjj guys spread because they do not teach or know leg locks. I heard the same excuses from traditional martial artists who claim that ground fighting is for people with no technique because if you execute traditional technique right, you wouldn't be on the ground.

Awesome. I joined Gracie Barra, Bellevue(WA) recently. I really like our professor here. We have pictures of Master Carlos Gracie Jr. and we bow to it after every training. I had never seen a video of him before. This is very cool. To me BJJ is very tough and interesting at the same time.

I really enjoyed watching this, it's crazy these days that there are so many newbies in GJJ/BJJ that say Gracie Barra don't know the basics or self defense blah blah aspect of the art. Master Carlinos was a teacher at gracie humaita i believe before going to Rolls academy. his game is very basic and solid.

i wanna go to that dojo and train theres a love that i have found in the BJJ community i have never found anywhere else. Boxing gyms and other institutions dont have that love and all teaches all atmosphere in it

2 things I like. 1: the teacher is okay with the student and doesn't mind putting himself in a place where the student can beat him. Most teachers don't let their ego do that with their good students. 2. The respect, even as they train seriously.
