Hey, so i've been doing research (more like double checking)... and I'm still right. Claymores and such are (historically speaking) still only about 4-6 lbs. Not a huge sum of weight to swing around as displayed in the video. Double check your facts, and post sources if you find me to be incorrect. Just sayin...

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, and believe you're a prof. in "medieval (fill in the blank)." But running speed depends on the athlete i'm sure. Another thing, the running 'speed' is a visual illusion. Camera work so to speak. In reality, he wasn't running that fast. More importantly, this was an advertisement for larp. Meant to make it look like larp. No intent to portray real weapons at all. =)

It is an excellent source of information for historical facts, what to look for in a quality sword, and many other educational topics.
