Try mixing without using fx and the eq. Trust me, you will wind up a better dj.

Using turntables, I have virtualdj and that teaches you have to push buttons with mouse clicks. Its like trying to fly a 747 from your bedroom, that does not make you a pilot.

yes it is trance m8 its the only music i listen to m8, trust me. soz if i sound like im having a go at u, Im not. This is what the new trance is like. its evolving. remember what the tunes from 1998 were like? then compare them to the ones from 2000-2004 and the new ones from this video. It changes thru time. Armin records ASOT with Ableton. The mixes have predominant cuts/drops. I think that's what he's refuring to here.

I'm curious to how you mix? do you just use vitrual DJ and hit sync? or do u pitch bend and use the tempo fader?.

to many effects used in such a short period of time :(

I do manual beatmatching, so yes I use pitch control and pitch bend(mapped on my keyboard).No BPM counters and no visualisation bar in my VDJ.

I don`t use autosync feature.I`m touching pitch control all the time..two buttons above left and right arrow buttons;)
