cut whole chicken down back, flattened,

wire rack, cement blocks, 1 hr., your sauce added.....Outstanding........thanks

  • Your comment just makes me feel great.

I am very happy that you liked it!

    I'll be right over......So save me a piece =)

    xx

  • Wouldn't that be fun if we got together over lunch!

  • Make the alfredo noodles man

  • Don't let me forget to make them.

I am thinking of taking a YouTube break in a couple weeks.

  • YUM!!!Chicken.......

  • Thank you Cindy!

  • I have to try this one, love chicken.

Pay no attention to the people that say they are your number one fan.. I am your REAL number one fan.

  • Thanks, I am a fan of yours too!

  • Could I have some pea soup to go with that? HA HA!!

Awesome chicken recipe. Why do I allow you to torture me this way!!

  • You are evil, just plain EVIL. XD

  • A whole chicken weighs about 4 lb so

at 15 min/lb that is approx 1 hour. However, if you only roast one leg thigh

(1/4 chicken) still have to roast about

40 minutes. 1/2 bird 40min to one hr.

  • Thanks James, you know .... one time about 4 years ago, I baked a chicken and did not bake it long enough.

I got salmonella poising and it was not fun at all.

  • Very yummy and so easy. I think I'll pair it with some rice and peas. Thanks so much!!! Have a great week!!!

  • I hope your picky eaters will like it!

  • The reciepe looks delicious,

    5 STARS!!!

Just one question, would 1 hour be over doing the chicken? I thought roasting poultry was about 15 minute per pound? I might be wrong.

  • Hum, well the chicken was not dried out; it actually was terrific!

  • Sweet! i'll give it a try :D

  • Love your Chinese recipies, keep them coming! :D

  • I will, to me they are the easiest food to cook!

  • It sounds like it is going to taste really good. I never was a fan of hoisin, but I bet if I lessened the amount, it would be spectacular!

  • Thanks Beth, I am a true believer that when hoisin is cooked that it does taste better than just tasting it raw.

  • You could use oyster sauce instead!

  • Yup, I LOVE oyster sauce!!

  • You can't go wrong with chicken

  • I agree and thanks so much!

  • You come up with the best recipes!

  • Thanks... just wait for the next ones, I have a couple special ones coming up in the works.

  • Great Video! Killer bbq chicken!

  • Thanks!

  • Yum! I love oriental BBQ (not a big fan of American BBQ though). I'm looking forward to trying this recipe! I'm sure my kids and I will LOVE it!!!!

  • Thanks Angie, if you make it spray the foil with cooking spray also, as I forgot to mention that.

  • I love chicken, And you just gave me an idea to make chicken another way! Thank you, Michael. That looks like it could be delicious with rice.

  • Oh yes with rice would be perfect.

I actually had mashed potatoes with it and peas.

The (your beans) turned out great! Yummy!

  • With mashed patatoes and peas? That sounds real good too, I'll will try it like that too. Thank you.

  • I would so love it if you taught me how to make chicken pizza. :)

    Love your number one fan!,

    Cyth

    P.S - NO SHORTS?!?!?! D:

  • Hey you are so nice. HAHAHHAHAHa

Well I have made a chicken pizza years and years ago, I really didn't like it much.

Remind me later, I have so many request to do and I am so far behind.

I want to make Fish Tacos.. a request from 3 months ago, and I still have not done it; I used to eat them all the time when I lived in San Diego.

  • Yummy!!

  • Thanks... I bet you can cook too!

  • Also... there is a sweet n sour chicken in my older videos.

  • How many pounds should the chicken be?

  • It should be about 3 1/2 pounds.

Thanks for the question... I should have mentioned that in the video!

  • I edited the description for the weight of the chicken, thanks so much for that Mike!

  • that looks delicious! i bet that other half probably won't stay in the freezer long!

  • Probably about 1 month for an easy cooking day.

  • Looks top notch!

  • Rawrrrr, thanks!

  • ahhh man that looks good!

  • Thanks, you are always terrific!

  • It's burnt

  • Naw... that is just mahogany color or the sauces!
