mgs is awesome if u decide to get it (which you should ) dont get mgs1 on ps1 get the mgs twin snakes for gamecube its a remake of the ps1 version with better graphics and weapons and gameplay everything about it.
mgs 1 2 and 4 are in my topp 10 games ever and you should definitely get it
I use the machine gun for the land targets and the ugms and missiles for the oil rigs.
