Wow, that cat is reaching up to rub his head on the dogs head. Cats only do that if they consider the recipient part of the family. The dog is a big brother. Never saw a cat try that hard to rub head to head. Very cute!
Notice how many of these involve a golden and a cat. My golden was the same. Cats fell in love with her at first sight and she loved them just as much. One time she saw an abandoned kitten across the street and made me go adopt him for her. After God created the golden retriever, he broke the mold.

that's so cute. My mom actually had to go out and get a kitten for her male sharpei; he is obsessed by cats. Now the cat is three years old and they are still very close.
