  • Truly unusual approach for ANY time period in music history - and thereby, classic. Picturesque lyrics, excellent instrumentals and evocative singing. The sum total defines what the Left Banke is all about, and why they are so revered - The uniqueness comes through even more so today.

  • Got one of those inexplicable cravings to hear this a few moments ago, and wallah! Takes me back to a great time and a favorite group. And yes, Love and Forever Changes" is another favorite. Now, I have to go back and check out Prefab Sprout...

  • I heard the cover of this by the Rockin' Berries on Sounds Of The Sixties - this is much better.

  • besides the Baroque Pop of Walk away Renee and Pretty Balerina, there was this one, on par with and making that, a trio of great hits for this old SF band (it says NY but not, and i should know) named after the sand Dunes of Paris....

  • Baroque Pop at it's best!

  • Thank you for yet another wonderful find!

You are helping me time trip, which is a good thing, my friend....

  • The album is magical. Has an emotional impact similar to Love's "Forever Changes" and Prefab Sprout's "Steve McQueen" (for me, at least).

  • @ImantaBabite You are so correct!!! This is so moving and wonderful...just as "Forever Changes"...awesome!!

  • Great memories! Thanks!

  • They were awesome. This song gets stuck my brain sometimes.
