I like Billy Joel, but this was not a good day for him. He was flat in the first half, and got back to competent by the end, upstaged by the bird.

@bdobkin1 Wow...really...I was, actually I still am such a great fan of his! I read his biographies time and time again, and his singing is still such an inspiration. There isn't a baritone of his calibre anywhere in the world today. I imagine you met him and spoke to him: I am a very jealous man at the moment! Thank you for sharing your memory.

I saw this game at Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees, the Mets, Billy Joel......

It was truly New York night.

The Yanks win this game and series.

It was one of the best memories of my life.
