  • its fred

  • you're a bitch! give me that battery case.

  • Is that Fred??

  • I don't blame him for changing his voice...the repair business is so cut throat.

I used to manage a repair shop. I have an idea he may be an authorized repair dealer and so doesn't want anyone to know who he is.

  • my game boy color dpad is very stiff does anyone know how to fix this.

  • @tjetjj open it up if you can and clean it out or if you cant open it use a wd-40 with the long spray nozzle thing that worked for me

  • your voice is soooo annoying!!

  • dude cut the voice out your not funny i didnt know you wante to be the UNFUNNY fred

  • Hey- thank you very much for posting this video! I had to replace my GBC's screen, and I had no idea what to do to get the screen disconnected from the motherboard. If it weren't for your video, I never would've noticed those little tiny locks. Thanks!

  • omg its fred!

  • for fucks sake, don't record in high pitch.

  • @andimhisfriendjesus Yeah, he sounds like Fred.

  • & also if not can you make a video showing us how you fix the battery in the game & if you dont know how is cool if you dont know ^_^

why is that can you tell me how to fix it ???

  • it's not the game boy it is the game

  • oh okay Thanks but what do i do with the game in order to save it because the game save but it dosent save so how does it work ??

  • it require's either getting a new game or getting a special screwdriver and replacing the battery it is very complicated and must only be done by professionals you're better off getting a new copy

  • okay thanks friend ill buy a new one because nowadays over here in sandiego they dont sell any pokemon or gameboy color games nw because they sell new systems now so they dont carry any new games in store so ill find it around websites or something or buy it of my friend probley a use games or something thanks

  • the battery in the game cartridge is dead

  • NOO! I can't buy the tri-wing (age limits)! Any other way? My GBC got salt caught in the power button from the inside and I need to get it out!

  • small flat tip screwdriver that is what i use.

  • Why did you pitch shift your voice? It makes this unbearable to watch.

  • Dude, how mani pins have the crystal X1?

  • Trank you

  • THT IS 1 GAY ASS VOICE

  • OMG that dumb modified voice drives me nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i bet you used a dell webcam, with the kid audio set. lol o no munchin maybe?

  • ROFL xD

  • Mine feels like there is something lose so I must check.

  • AMEN!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Are the same screws used for the original Gameboy? I have two and want to swap out the front casings.

  • no they are different

  • the original gameboy is bigger, so it won't work and they do have the same screws though.

  • I have the Ice Blue Gameboy color and the Pokemon Silver/Gold edtion too..

  • I couldn't under stand the last part well.

  • Dude lay off the helium, lmao

    jk

  • how much did this cost when it first came out?

  • $120 aus

  • omg its fred!

  • do u have some talking disability or something?

  • instead of takng the time and money to get the special screwdriver just use a small flat head screwdriver, it works just the same!, i have taken apart my gb pocket and my gf's gb color that way........just a lil hint :)

  • takes no time to buy one on ebay.. and they're only like $3 shipped. :) either way... Since i was doing game boy mods daily it made sense for me to have the right tools.

  • @noname2187

    I agree

Why buy when you don't need

  • @franciscotoast

If he didn't have a small enough flat head it makes sense to buy the tri-wing anyway.

  • :) :)

  • he use AV VCS

  • Lol you using voice changer diamond or something voice changer program :D

  • i had this gba sp and i wanted to open it and there was no screws drivers that worked

and i opened it with weapons and my hands

it was cool inside but it broke

  • His voice was changed so nobody recognizes him.

  • hahaha... yeah.. that's it. LoL. i was just being silly w/ iMovie

  • @circuitbent just admit that the fbi would hunt you down ^^

  • i need a way that does not use tri screwdrivers

  • you voice is gay, cant hear what u says

  • YOU are all IDiots

  • ALLLLLVIIIIIINNN!

HEY! how come nobody's tried to soup up

or do music with Sega's Game Gear?

  • be careful with the ribbon cable.

  • ny chance you could do one for thee game for d gbc?

  • what is black squar at top it says comm. its always been a mystery to me

  • i think ya can remove it to add backlight

  • It was an infrared port that was used on only a couple of games. Shame really, as I think it could have been put to great use. Like pokemon. Wouldn't it have been great if you could trade pokemon wirelessly on GSC? And don't give me this "omgz whut about dp" Because DP doesn't come close to the glory that is GSC.

  • it is basically a useless add on because you can only use it with like 10 games and most were only sold in japan it an ir (infa red)sensor so you dont have to use the connector cable to link with your friends. but what are the odds your going to find somewone with the same game. also i wouldnt think it would work too good considering how cheap nintendo is (no offence)

  • Chipmuk voices sucks!! didn't understand :S

  • The "chipmunk" voice is very annoying and it makes it hard to get your point.

  • You can also use a knife to open the screws.

  • how?

  • A really sharp one.

  • i'd never do that to a gameboy color there so cool!

  • man forget the rest. i think the chipmunk voice was pretty rad. :] Can I do this to change the lights inside it?

  • will this work for the original game boy?

  • Dude... grow some balls. If you turned out to sound like Screech, it's still better than listening to a fucking chipmunk, lol.

That was based on the assumption that you modified your voice because it's not as deep as other dudes (not intended to sound rude, BUT intended for you to know never to do that again).

  • cool but I don't see the point in making your voice high pitched, I found it harder to hear....

  • I would personally love to put a working Gameboy Advance in there

  • lol craig the grimmweeper

  • lol i like the chipmunk voice in the video ^_^

  • i seriously hope tht isnt ur real voice...u sound like the dude out of pirates of the carribean 3 in the meating place...

  • aahahahah lolz neat voice

  • how many helium balloons did you use for this vid?

  • Are you still planning to show how to open the classic and do the Pro Sound mods?

  • Are you still planning to show how to open the classic and do the Pro Sound mods?

  • i want a mod to put a light in my gameboy coler

  • use led's and connect them in parallel to the gameboys main power supply

  • I tried using a regular phillips, but I only got so far, and my hands started hurting. Where can I find a "Tri Wing" in my City?

  • He said you can buy them from Ebay. But try maybe ACE Hardware, they could be able to order one if they do not have one in stock.

  • watch he puts it together and it breaks..i can laugh when it happens..lol..i have the same color dude!:D

  • what was the point to this video???

what kind of saddo does that for fun

  • why did he say take out the resisters is he trying to make us brake our gameboy colors

  • Any bellend can open electronic equipment and make shit of it. So how is this useful in any way?

  • Who the fuck did the comentary, alvin the chipmunk? LOL!!!!!

  • I DARE you to put it back together

  • ALVIN!

  • omg ur hurting it i can hear it scream

  • i think his voice is awesome=P

  • dude are u a wanna be chipmunk?!...any ways a gbc sux gba sp is betta (lik hell)

  • gameboy colour was revolutionary and came out long time before advance so no shit its not oging ot be as good..piece of shit

  • yeah, but if you were alive when original gameboys were popular you would like them better. I remember playing pokemon back in the 90's.

  • o ya those were the days. going to school and friends lieing about having a mew and then one kid got a gameshark and me and him got mews!

  • yup

  • Please; learn english before making dumbass comments.

Nice video by the way, I am hoping to prosound mod a gameboy at some point in the near future. I have ordered an LSDJ, fun times.

  • maaan that voice sounds like that flying midget from house of the dead 2! nahahaha xD!!

  • LOFL he does!

  • wtf did you change the pitch?

  • no.

  • are you by any chance running from the law? or will people you know call you a geek if they recognize your voice from the vid?

  • lol

    i not understando he saw

  • do u represresent the lolipop guild?

  • ROFL

  • omg lol

  • I dont understand nothing

  • who the hell is that voice from????????

  • His trying to hide his Identity!

  • Hey, how did you get your voice like that?

  • my guess is he either used a movie-editing program like windows movie maker,or mac imovie and chose that effect,or he inhaled helium before filming this.lol.

  • Well either one might be that reason. But I would like to have that sound just like that. That way, I would make a funny video so I could post on youtube. But what kind of effect are you talking about? Oh wait a minute. I think he narrated his voice in windows movie maker and changed it that type. But how's that?

  • i'm not exactly sure.

  • Then might as well ask circuitbent.

  • yep

  • ROFL

  • Mby its his real voice lol

  • Funny voice

  • nice voice but what can i do with this?

  • You didn't really have to remove the ribbon cable. You can just flip out the screen with a normal screwdriver.

Tried it myself, works like a charm.

  • Warped voice? lol, you sound like a Chipmunk.

  • He does ass hole. You kinda sound reitarded cause everyone knows that he sounds like a chipmunk. So beat it pal!!!

  • JUST A FRIENDLY REMINDER

    do not disconnect the screen

there is a 75% chance the screen will not work again

  • you're probably right even dropping the gameboy will make the screen get buggered up

  • That's cool....why do you feel the need to warp your voice?

  • Thank you very much... I'm going to mod my friend's GBC and this really helped.

  • hello there,so why do you need to remove the resistors?
