  • @Caferacer311 The blue paint was Duplicolor Metal Specks Ocean Blue purchased at Autozone. The silver was just some Duplicolor Automotive Silver.

  • Nevermind...I found out this week that your shocks are stock. Mine are encased so there is no chrome showing. My bad. I am curious though about the color scheme. Since we have the same one and it was never an option for this bike that year.

  • The color scheme was decided simply by picking my 2 favorite colors (Blue and Silver). I never really liked the '72 stripes so I just went with the paint scheme that I've seen on some '68 and '69 Triumphs. No real reason. And the paint was all done with rattle can Duplicolor. I didn't feel like spending thousands for a paint job.

  • Why did you use springs in the rear? I like it besides that. I also the same bike, same year and almost the exact same color. Besides the color it's all original. What made you choose that color?
