my local dept. got closed...funding or something and some ppl are fighting it in court but it doesnt look good.....i want to become a volunteer firefighter but aint old enough yet...but anyways great vid and evryone stay safe...
agreed i used to be on a vol dept 6 mths ago, bad deal went down with my dept, but i miss it every day, in the future il look to get on another dept, but i remmber my last night two stry structure fire, and the ambulance had to take me out of there to the hospital. I am a firefighter at heart and always will be, stay safe guys and get on that 2 and a quater inch line!
I hope this could become a series most of all so more people could learn about volunteer firefighters. Maybe this way we could get the much needed support to stay in existence. Such as how we operate with very little funding as well as being way understaffed, but we do the best we can because we enjoy helping the people of our community.
