Just been there and to lake manyara and serengeti and it was like i was dreaming! it was al so beautiful. I even saw a pride of 14 lions kill a buffalo and then eat it
wow, amazing! was this taken on a Good Earth Tour?! I'm considering going on a tour w/ them in July. I really hope we get to see wildlife like what you captured here!
I was born and lived in Tanzania for twenty-two years and visited Ngorongoro, Serengeti and other parks a lot. I really enjoyed looking at this video it brought back so many beautiful memories. Thank you for sharing it.
I stayed a month in Tanzania! We visited the Ngorongoro Crater. It was wanna the most beautiful places I've ever seen in the world....well that in the Indian Ocean!! Love to go back!!!!
Tanzania is the easiest and most friendliest country in Africa (actual on the planet!!) to combine a safari with time on an Indian Ocean island such as Zanzibar.
I've been watching your Africa safari videos, and they are all really well shot and edited. I also like the timelapses. So when do we get to see the Mountain Gorillas?
Thanks for your comments. I keep meaning to finish the gorilla footage but always seem to get side-tracked. I really liked your footage too. Especially the hippos. On a small-world note I recognized 'Opening Night Jitters' on your profile from last year's Boston 48 Hour. I believe we screened on the same night at Kendall Square. I worked on the mockumentary P.O.O.P.
These videos are yours, very tidy work, your compositions are well set and the timing from shot to sequence works a treat. If its not a rude question, what camera did you shoot on? I'm a photographer in NZ looking at doing some video, short films mainly, hence the question.
You Kiwis sure are formal. Not a rude question in the least. I used the Panasonic 100A. They have since come out with a 100B which is native wide-screen and a hi-definition model, the HVX200. Personally, I'll probably upgrade to the Canon XH A1 when I move to hi-def. A good site to find out more about all these cameras is dvxuser. com. Good luck and thanks for the kind words.
Hey thanks for the advice, most of what the camera has to offer is dependent on the person holding the camera, but I have heard the Panasonic is a pretty good camera as is the Canon, I though you were using the Canon. So hence my questions. The Canon you say, is what you are tending towards. Very interesting, I will check out that website, thank you very much. Love your work mate cheers.

Quite well done, composed, framed, and the damn lucky wildlife shots. When I visited the crater, we had hard time getting any lion shots.

it is so fucking incredibly uncommon to have the lions so close to the car, haven't seen anything like this in my 12 years of continous safari'ing..
