following my last comment.. its 11-5-08... i am seeing signs of a detached retina/retinal hole. obviously i cannot see floaters because they were removed via vitrectomy, but i can still see the flashes.. oh i forgot one by the way.. i also had a cataract surgery.

im 17 years old, i have had 2 detached retina surgeries, one on each eye. and about a month ago (10-2-08) i had a vitrectomy due to inflammation and deterioration of the eye's natural lens. i am highly myopic, therefore my chances of a detached retina are greatly increased. my surgeon stated that i would NOT get a detached retina due to the vitreous pulling away from the eye because the vitreous was removed during the vitrectomy. although i am still at great risk of a detached retina.
I have some floaters in my eyes. And every month I get some flashing line on the side of my eye. Recently this happened today and a few days ago. I am afraid I might have a detached retina.
make sure you don't allow any critters to live, find out from the doctor how to avoid that, and keep going to eye specialists, stay on top of it.
