  • Did anyone notice the heap of sand Behind the Umpire at 0:40....

    .......LOL

  • Your video is popular on Canberra

  • This video went viral on Netherlands

  • AT LEAST AUSTRALIA DOESN'T PICK HALF A TEAM OF FOREIGNERS.

LESS THAN HALF YOUR POPULATION YET HAVE ACHIEVED MORE THAN YOU WANKERS EVER WILL

  • Stuart Broad is gay

  • @nikulesh2000 I can assure you he isn't. He has a girlfriend I tihnk. So your using it as an offensive term so your obviously homophobic. Why? Whats wrong with being gay?

  • @timmyedmundson fuck offfffffffffffffffffffffffff

  • @nikulesh2000 Your very rude, I asked a good quesiton, what in your opinion is wrong with being gay?

  • Aussies are good at Sledging and getting owned.

Talking how good they were few years back.

And bragging about being the No.1 ODI side, which is not gonna last long.

  • @SLICKR392 Australia 4 World Cup's.

    England? Fuck all.

  • @AussieFkinPride good result against the kiwis mate, i mean your team are all little aussie battlers......

  • Comment removed

  • We are just so fucking good! Its hard to believe!

  • @spannerboy1987 Good at what, importing foreigners? Yeah Greg Rusedski, Lennox Lewis, half of your fucking cricket team lol, who's the best Englishman in the last 30 years mate if you actually played us with a team of Englishmen you'd be getting dicked despite our crap our current team is.

Like spot the white Englishman your team a bunch of Curry Munchers & South Africans lmao.

  • @AussieFkinPride Racist.

  • The ball to Haddin is Broad's best ever ball. The first lbw was plum and everything but Broad should have turned to ask the umpire instead of just celebrate.

  • Broad's now forgotten how to pitch up a cricket ball now though:(

  • @TakerBatistaHBK think he remembers now...

  • @TakerBatistaHBK he's definitely remembered now! 15 wickets in the series already and scoring runs for fun. so glad he wasn't dropped.

  • Shut up ColourDeficient

  • 7 people are aussies

  • Much as it pains me to admit this, but the Aussies were actually better sports in this clip. Katich walks before being given out, which is always nice to see, whereas Broad doesn't even appeal at the umpire. It's a gripe of mine, but Broad really doesn't do himself any favours by showing this disrespect/arrogance to the officials.

  • i fucking love swann's bowling action, its mesmerising!

  • wat do ya call a good aussie cricketer ....retired

  • @TheFraziak

What do you call a nation desperate to beat its commonwealth's and very rarely does? England...... Grow up, you can't say anything to Australian cricket they are up thirty tests against you and have won far more series and 4 world cups.... england shit all in that department.

  • @TheFraziak What do you call a good english cricketer? South African. What do you call a batsmen with 10,000 test runs? Ricky Ponting. Get a clue mate. England havent produced a decent cricketer in 30 years...maybe trott will change that...maybe

  • @price3939 Mad Aussie.

    2 - 1

    1 - 3

  • 1:36 was a beauty..:)

  • We should have bowled 'em a piano ......

  • Comment removed

  • @dosh228 :L out of form.. when it said clarke was the leading run scorer of the series?

  • Comment removed

  • @dosh228 So have they been 'out of form' for a few years now?

  • @dosh228

Watto's may have stayed low - but he was plumb to Freddy for about 2 earlier.

BTW - you say you've played against 'half these boys' - with whom?

  • 1.19 MARCUS NORT WHY DIDN'T HE REVIEW IT AND IT WOULD OF BEEN OVERTURNED

  • @DAJAZDJ1 Reviews weren't in Cricket when this series was played

  • @DAJAZDJ1 No UDRS in that Ashes.

  • THAT BALL THAT GOT PUSSY I MEAN HUSSEY WAS A BEAUTEY

  • hate these sick poms, dunno why..

    oz rules..:)

  • Cracker from Broad against Haddin, reminiscent of Harmy 05 last ball of the day.

  • Comment removed

  • @smity11100 it was england who filled the crowds becuase by the end of day 1 a mcg on 60000 people were left and all the ausies left coz they were getin battered. so the remaining people were the english. and if we can get football stadiums that fit around 80,000 people ad yours only fit like 30,000. i live in adeliade and the adelaide oval is smallest stadium ive ever seen.

  • @smity11100 Yes 85,000 convicts on day one, then 85 on day 2.

  • If Broad could do this every game he would be the best bowler in the world.

  • @MMAC0RE 09015 22 23 07 for swann spread it!

  • 09015 22 23 07

  • Comment removed

  • Brings home what a loss Stuart Broad's injury is to this current Ashes series. He bowled very well at Brisbane and Adelaide at just over 2 runs an over without taking wickets. He was due a cluster and Perth would have suited him.

  • @TheDerridian 09015 22 23 07 for swann spoty

  • @MMAC0RE To true from an aussie its more fun sitting with the barmy army at the tests lets be honest they know how to have a good time, Fucked if i know how they chant for so long tho =S

  • Im happy for the poms, in recent years they've actually been doing o.k. at cricket. Its a case of Australia playing badly more than anything but who cares, as long as they are finally being competitive. Sure winning a few tournaments can never repair the embarrassment of being heavily dominated for 70 odd years, but it gives the poms a sense of 'purpose'.. something the albino's usually lack here in the summer time.. apart from keeping our lifeguards busy at bondi beach that is. Awsome surfers.

  • Yeah aussies keep abusing the England supporters and cricketers. It won't work. In fact Jonathan Trott said the abuse he got from the aussie crowd at the gabba inspired him to spank a hundred off them in Brisbane. Thanks to aussie abuse Alistaire cook has hit top form for the first time in batting with 230 odd. So thank you Australia and their crowds and media for making the England cricket team play better. Keep it up and England might just win the ashes down under :)

  • @rohanmarkjay 09015 22 23 07 spread it swann for sports personality 2 hours to vote!

  • Swann and Broad hold the key the series:the Aussies will try and belt them out of the attack 2 force Strauss 2 use Jimmy when he's tired;if they struggle against Swann in particular,Jimmy will b fresher and able 2 pitch the ball up without worrinying 2 much about going 4 runs

  • @rafalutionine Nothing is funnier than watching that little gayboy broad prance down the pitch and give the batsman a 'glare' lmfao.. pretty sure my grandma could kick his lilly ass. Must be so intimidating having a kid who looks like he's about 12 giving you the big stare hahaha

  • Marcus North Fail ! lol

  • Broad's spell was the only difference between the two sides, as tight as a series can get :)

  • graham is the best spinner out there today. no harbhajan no daniel .

the drift, loop and spin tht swann gets with the loft tht he gives is incredible. and im saying this even though im an indian swann >harbhajan>daniel

  • not that good pakistanis did batter then this. 88 all out.

  • @TheWaqarpk followed by ppakistanis getting dismissed for less than 100 3 times in the england series.......you dont have much to defend that.

  • I want every Australian to watch this and favourite it.

  • Broad is a talented bowler but very inconsistent and gets heated up too early.

  • @1137moiz I don't agree on the inconsistent part, I think Broad is pretty reliable and accurate. If you want to see inconsistent, look up Steve Harmison, there is a dictionary entry for inconsistent with his name against it.

  • @m1trekker ha yeah, but i would disagree...Harmison is consistently unreliable...he bowls a blinder once in a while and his slower ball that nailed Clark at Edgbaston in 2005 was class!

  • hey nice off break

  • Stuart Broad was amazing! He is such a fantastic cricketer! As the commentators said one of the best spells of test match bowling they had ever seen!

  • My heart bleeds.

  • superb

  • Best ball I've ever seen Broad bowl is the outswinger to Haddin.

  • football is my favourite sport, not at international level though. its noce to see an england team perform.

  • I still laugh on this video.

  • total demolishion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I've been to a fair few matches in my time, but this, this was the greatest day of test match cricket I've ever seen. For once I wasn't falling asleep by tea. Simply amazing, and so lucky to have seen it unfold in front of my eyes!

  • Great bowling.

It's not often the Aussies collapse like that.

  • Credit to Broad. The pasting he took from Yuvraj Singh did not end ruin his confidence.

  • Does nobody notice that the majority of australian top order batsmen arent comfortable with the ball coming back into them? Just look at the top order wickets in this game :S

  • Great ball to Haddin - unplayable

  • we will see you in australia where the pitches and the conditions won't suit your quicks one bit. swann will go alright

  • aidange ye i rememb i think dat was first test wen he hit broad for 2 sixes in a row? he ended up making bout 40 and clarke made a 100 dat game

  • I vaguely remember Stuart Clark coming in later and crapping on the bowling, but that might've been another match...:S

  • Has to be said - that session won the Ashes. After collapsing in the 1st Innings the Aussies had too much to do to win the match (although they should have tried to block out England for the draw and retain the Ashes).

Broad was brilliant, really Glenn McGrath-style length and line, shaping the ball away from right handers and then bowling cutters when they least expected them.

North was unlucky, but frankly he wasn't going to hold up England anyway

The ball to Haddin was an absolute beauty.

  • That one to watson was a good ball ;)

freds spell at lords was the best ever ;)

  • 1:37... wow. amazing ball.

  • Minute 1:41..what a shugger!!!!!!!!

  • Broads a smartass, quality spell though

  • EN-GER-LAND!

    EN-GER-LAND!

    EN-GER-LAND!

    That is all.

  • oh come on, its not like the aussies haven't had luck in the past is it, now they have to use their young bowlers instead and they aint up to the job, so suck it up you aussies and learn to lose gracefully, yeah some decisions went against you but thats cricket ps was marcus north really gunna have that much imact, would he have saved the test match? i doubt it

  • Not blaming the umpires for the loss, but Australia definetly copped the bad end of the stick. I mean, just look at North's dismissal. Ridiculous.

  • Whinging Aussie - Suck it up, shit happens - stop whining

  • actually, Aussies only had two more bad decisions than england. For an ashes series the umpiring was an embarrassment, where was Daryl Harper

  • Broads new tactic of bowling straight shocks the ozzies. They never recovered.

    ;-D

    Nice memories from the summer.

  • The aussies are still crying and we'r still jubilant!!!!! :D

  • im not crying?

  • but the thing is aus lost didnt they? so whats to question? honestly people saying whos better than who dont know anything, anything could happen on the day like when holland beat england! so keep quiet maciej899

  • Freddie Flintoff would have torn the Aussie team apart if he's been fully fit. Kevin Pietersen would have punished the Ausie bowlers as well. It was a shame that some key players were missing, but injuries affected both sides.

  • God that day was brilliant! I went out to sort the bins out, and two wickets fell while i was outside!

  • @enticott4

Make sure you hoarde a mountain of rubbish before the series in Oz starts. Every time we need a wicket I want your neighbours woken up with a clattering of wheels and plastic.

  • Shut it convict

  • We know >_>

  • what a day...

  • australia chor hai!!!!!!!!1

  • Comment removed

  • Just remember what happened last time England won. A 5-0 whitewash the next series. The only bad thing about beating the Australians at cricket is that they will only get hungier to beat you.

  • But this time they don't have McGrath or Warne. And they haven't won at home in Tests for a while now!

  • When England desperately needed somebody to rip the heart out of the Aussies Stuart Broad delivered, brilliant. I think he'll be at least 10% better than we've seen from him before from now on.

  • Yeah, if he manages to remain injury free. Coming from an Aussie, he did well to spearhead the English attack when Anderson was injured. If he works more on his batting he could be a top class all rounder,

  • SumFallGrace

Broad hasn't got a big, heavy frame like Flintoff I think he'll have much less injury trouble - and his body is not worn at only 23. Flintoff was never going to have a long career with all that weight coming down on his ankles.

I don't rate Anderson that much - brilliant on his day but pretty ordinary most of the time. England seem to be masters at producing players of occasional brilliance.

  • Broad's bowling reminds me a bit of Brett Lee's; fast and sharp. That sort of bowling action, while effective, places a lot of stress on the body. I would not be surprised if Broad tears a muscle in his leg in a later test match.

  • It's his variation, if he gets the line and length immaculate he could end up NEARLY as good as the legendary McGrath. (I'm a Pom by the way)

  • TheReadingStudent

Don't worry about talking up Glenn McGrath dude, he WAS legendary. To take 500 + wickets at 21 apiece on the flat and dull pitches of recent years is shocking - shockingly brilliant that is. He may have been a b*stard Aussie but I rate him as good as as any of the greats.

Broad took wickets when it mattered most against the team that matters most. Lets see if we can make him consistently world class.

  • Tis a shame swann is so old and Panesar isn't up to scratch. If Rashid and Panesar get better we could become a much better side. Hopefully Monty's time in South Africa will be useful.

  • TheReadingStudent

Lol! You've made me smile mate!

Swann OLD huh? at 30!!! You don't need to be young to bowl spin! I like Swann - he has the mettle for test cricket. England have produced many talented players that just lack the steel for the big time - Hick, Ramprakash and Harmison come to mind easiest. Montly looks to be going that way too.

  • It's nicer to have a young talented running-hell-and-leather in the outfield spin bowler though, isn't it? Sadly, all swann has is his bowling. While he isn't a MUG in the field, he's not somebody you could say to, "We want you covering the whole of the leg side (in front of square) - and we want you in close" (which has happened to me, I like to think I'm a pretty good fielder).

  • TheReadingStudent

For my money spinners have never traditionally been particular athletes. They are in the side to bowl spin obviously and unless they are exceptional bowlers they are also required to bat at around 8.

  • Batting around 8? Swann opens for Notts (when he plays) in One Dayers from what I remember. Along with other spinners! Although I do agree, the spinner in my cricket team looks as if a giant should be bowling him.

  • TheReadingStudent

I'm sorry dude - different wavelengths here. Test Cricket is the only form of international cricket for me. One day internationals in my book are fun knockabouts not to be taken seriously and 20/twenty or whatever they call it can GO TO HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its chav cricket.

  • don't forget when England go to Australia , the Australias pick a ball that doesn't swing if i an not mistaken , the one that wont help swing bowlers ,,,,

  • broad has learnt a lot about this game since he was treated like anything by yuvraj sing...........

  • congrats to english team, from pak

  • they won it fr eng

  • cooool

  • brilliant outswinging delivery

  • AYA HIRANO

  • broads action and run up reminds me of glen mcgrath, lets hope he can mature into a similar bowler :)

  • Broad changed the whole game- genius ! He will be a future england star

  • great game join the group england win the ashes 2009 on facebook

  • brilliant Broad!

  • absolutely superb delivery that got ponting....

  • Oh I forgot to mention, Got a Top 3 tennis player too - something SA don 't have.

  • i like the english team more than australia even though im part aussie lol!

  • Glorious

  • Has anyone ever noticed how funny Ponting looks while he's team is going to lose a match. He makes his feelings really obvious. Great batsman, bad captain.

  • What is this? Is this baseball?

  • oh wait. now you started on the football? ok LOL. The game you consider your NATIONAL SPORT? When last did you win a world cup? Thats right, over 40 years ago. LMFAO!

At least we are good at our national sports hahahahha

  • Get a life man, you seem like a sad little man, asking questions to yourself and laughing at your own jokes.

  • We are good at our national sports. Top 3 in world swimming, track and field, rowing (best in the world), snooker, darts, horse racing, plus got 3/4 players in the NBA.

The only culture white South Effrika had was tossing burning types onto black people, or "bliick", as you say. By the way, your nation cannot even speak proper flemish LOL.

  • tyres? Calm down plonker - then you might be able to type properly.

  • Wow, a typo. Big feckin deal. Less of a crime than the quality of your B.O soaked IT staff..

  • Hey those B.O soaked IT staff are paying their taxes so you can claim your benefits, dummy. You should go thank them.

  • Steady on pommies. You are still only ranked #5 in the world. Got a long way to go.

  • Oww that hurts! I feel like I'm going to cry into my champagne!

  • And your awful at 20-20. Your world cup performance was a joke. Did not even qualify. They must have caught the "world cup bottler" disease off your rugby players lol.

  • LMFAO!!!! Ignorance surely is bliss. What, England are better at 20/20 - that connoisseur's version of the game? LOL! "bottler disease" ? Yeah our rugby team are real bottlers. Especially when we whipped you 36-0 in the World Cup and again 15-6 in the final, whipped the Lions, and are ranked #1 in the world....oh, and #1 in the WORLD for cricket (Test) and #1 in the WORLD (ODI). lol. you just got owned. You must feel like a right fool now. lol.

  • Australia are ranked number 4 in the world at test cricket now. You're welcome.

  • idiot nobody matches us as people the whole world wants to be english

  • Well done Broady !!

  • I'm amazed how he got so many wickets. He is the same bowler who Yuvraj hit 6 sixes in an over! can u believe it?

  • He's improved a lot since 07.

  • so good to see mitchell johnson get out like that cause he thinks he is soo good and that he is gods gift to cricket he was awful in the series everyone saying hes a good bowler but i have not seen anything to make me think that. AV IT YOU AUSSIES

  • Brillant piece of bowling from England!

  • Asad Rauf should be the man of the match. If he would have given Jonathan Troll LBW on first ball of 3rd day, Aussies would have been the winners.

  • yeah but the bloke didn't....so he cant can he?

  • Pls elaborate!

  • his bowling style/action reminds me of glen mcgrath, hes a great bowler no where near as good asmcgrath but hes rappidly improving and can core some handy runs aswell

  • Well done england on regaining the ashes. They truly deserve it.

  • i'm an auusy....all props to broad and swann. they exploited the wicket to their best ability and left aussies grilling. We'd come back better and stronger in next series. Watch out u pommes.

  • no ashes for australia under poor ponting captaincy....

  • wow!

first cricket I have seen in 3 years!!

    5 stars from TheJapanChannel !

  • burn Sky

    bring back sport

  • Great - Broady has come of age, could we have a replacement for Freddie. On this evidence, i think so:)

  • Sweet

  • Mate, nearly everyone has sky sports if you haven't u gotta get it because nothins on the BBC these day apart from eastenders

  • It's a shame hardly anyone is going to see England reclaim ashes live because disgraceful BBC don't pay up to broadcast it and are happy to let Sky sports have it.

  • Someone call the RSPA, cause theres a Swann on fire :)

  • -.- bad pun, but i still laughed :)
