@peterzh100 that happened to me to, all you have to do is keep you body weight over the board and when you pop it keep you weight more to the back foot and just do a little flick then the board should just go a little bit infront of you, so just just jump foreward and catch...thats what i do,

One thing that helps me that no one ever talks about is.... Look at a spot to land. Don't watch your feet, watch a spot that is a bit in front of you and a bit to the side. Keep looking at the spot while doing the trick and make sure that you and you board both land in the spot. Jump onto it, and try to make your board land on it.

@dgwbleu you want to focus more on the scoop/pop and less on the flick. You want to really hammer that back foot down. If you still cant get the full spin, try it in fakie, or just try 360 pop shuvs to get the hang of the pop and then you can just adjust for tres. Oh and you can always just try adjusting your feet positioning, sometimes that helps alot.
