Billy Van was an amazing man, the show is one i have been watching since i was 5, but it was only later that i appreciated the professor, he was a genius who was able to make me see that physics is enchanting and rich, this is my fave episode, napoleon said chladni makes music visible. Even these quotes reveal this man's uniqueness..long live the professor!
When I was 6 & 7 years old, I used to watch The Hilarious House of Frightenstein EXCLUSIVELY to see Professor Julius Sumner Miller. He was the only guy on TV who didn't talk down to us kids. He treated us like we were college students, and I think we're the better for it. I stole all his experiments and replicated them in show and tell. The other kids in class never noticed and the teacher thought I was some kind of genius. He was a great old guy, and I miss him immensely. RIP, Professor.
