Yes, he is still alive and yes he is stil very strong, especaily for his age, he can still do standing shoulder presses with 150's for like 20 reps. And yes if he were young he would kill super Mauriez, he was so dominant in his early WSM evetst they asked him not to come back, he dominated in highland games and was the first man to bench 661 in a competion, he had the three lift total for powerlifting for a long time. Alot of people think he's the strongest man who ever lived.

They don't test and he did use them (steroids) at one time during hte 80's like alot of atheletes in that decade did, every one from jose canseco, to armonld swartzenegger, to ed coan, to lial ezadio ether admited or experimented with steroids. especailly in the lated 70's to early 90's. You got remember that steroids weren't even illegal until the mid 80's and at the end of the day they are only going to do so much for you.

I worked out at Bill's gym back in 1982, very nice guy, very helpful. Spotted him one time while he was doing squats( about 750lbs for reps), I was just praying he didn't have any trouble, He didn't.He tried out for G.B packers back then, not enough lateral movement. Great man, the best!!!!!

In this day and age, ALL world class atheletes have cycled at various points to get to the next competitive level.

So if they are asked "Are you on steroids?" the answer can truthfully be yes. (read 'right now').

If they are asked "Have you even cycled perf enhancing drugs(steroids for strength and speed people)?" the answer is Yes.

If you want to get bigger you need to eat more calories than you burn. You might have a high metabolism, so you will have to eat a lot to get big. On the plus side it will be easier to remain lean throughout the weight-gaining so you will not look as bloated as me.
