Tanker pilots are some of the best in the world, I rate them right up with Navy and Marine Corp. pilots, who in my opinion ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD! Thank you can not begin to express the appreciation our community has for you, the proverbial white knight saving the kingdom at the last possible second. I can not understand why the lame United States Congress will not give the USFS the 2.5 billion to bring aviation back into the current century, but it doesn't surprise me. You guys are the best!
My Sincerest appreciation for all the fire-workers who controlled the blaze with the aging equipment that they had. Bravo for your outstanding Courage and Bravery in the face of the High Winds, Billowing Smoke, Fire Wave, and desert scorching heat. I really wish you had the budget of just 1 stealth fighter to upgrade your equipment for even more increased effectiveness. It's a crying shame you don't. The landscape and wildlife casualties are a terrible loss. Send the bill to Mexico!
